Cute park, but others not so much. People need to for respect for one another. Not play their loud music for the entire park to hear, especially when trying to relax and maybe listed to something else. Its distracting and rude. The surroundings could be cleaned up more and the grass and trees watered heavily. It's dead grass everywhere. The nice thing is the entrance fee of $5 per car. I guess u get what u pay for. Could be a Layton's little jem.

This river in this area is only hip or chest deep all the way across..alot of idiots have drowned this summer in other places for not wearing safety vest..well here in laton u won't need one ..if the current takes u ..it get ankle deep shallow down the way ...I like to float with the safety vest on from the bridge to the shallow water down the way ..in the shallow area is safe for little kids of course with parental supervision

Park is currently closed until March 15. When they open for the season. Packed during the summer while the water runs through the river.

Nice park that has potential. We enjoyed being in the water with the kids floating on these hot days. Nice place to be in the water and have a tailgate get together. Picnic tables are only walking distance as well as the restrooms. Their grass is pretty dry and I would recommend wearing shoes as theres alot of dried burr-clover(spiky round weed) that hurt when u step on them. Other than that its a good place to hang out with friends and loved ones.

Limited parking, be prepared to do some off roading. The summers are crowded. They charge $5 here until 6pm. The river doesn't seem to run deep here.

Its beautiful, green, and peaceful.. And good to see it full of water again, especially after last year this time it was bone dry.
