Went out kayaking for the day. It was a gorgeous day. The water is very clean and clear. The island in the middle of the lake has the remains of the original owners. Little different. You can only access them by kayak. Came by surprise but kinda neat.

Security guards are not friendly!.this is a place where people wave when they pass by.and we are supposed to trust them? poooof ya right.they are fat and just want to get back to eat candy bar stash in their office.i wouldn't trust anything they do.

I've lived here for about year now and I absolutely love it. It's so quiet and the beautiful mountains are a nice scenery. People are very friendly here and they always seem willing to help. My surroundings neighbors keep to themselves as so do I. The thing I had to get used to is there is absolutely no food delivery service here Lol! I'm also very fortunate that I don't live behind the gates I'm on the opposite side. It's nice because I feel like people that live behind the gates are in everybody's business. This is not a business it's a private community with private lake, airstrip and other amenities. Acreage lots with lots of homes, mini ranches. Equestrian area with 50 some miles of maintained dirt roads in this gated community. It is a great place to live.

Only place in the Abs area with water aside from a couple of other private lake properties. I just bought a nice lot there. Lots of people moving to the area. HOA doesn't seem to do much in improvements. Maybe they will cuz they get a lot of money from residents of this gated community.

Very nice and safe community, People are friendly. The sky is clear and at night the stars are bright. The roads bring back memories of Mexico when I was a kid. Put your mouth peace in and buckle up. Not to sure how it's possible for the roads to be that rough. When they have a crew and equipment to maintain the roads. I have seen the equipment it's everything you need to maintain the roads the crew should be trained on the equipment and how roads need to be crowned so water goes to the sides of the road leaving the road intake.

Everyone here is so nice and genuinely cares about their community. From wildlife photographers to historic aviators, the hobby groups in Lake Riverside Estates are passionate about this place! It's great to hear the excitement in their voices when they talk about where they live.

This is the best kept secret in all of California. This is a very awesome community of friends. Everyone I have met is friendly and helpful even willing to go out of their way to assist eachother. This community restores some of my faith in humanity... the only negative thing I can say about LRE is it is in California (-;
