The congregation was friendly and welcoming. The childcare area was wonderful. The sermon seemed based on social media arguments that the pastor had with people. There were some very good points and some things really missed the mark for me. “All the love stuff” being unimportant when Jesus only gave us two commandments was a miss as was you only have to believe to get to heaven. I’m sure it would be a comfort for people who choose to not follow Jesus teachings and try to love one another and let God judge but I believe context matters. It’s probably not fair to base my opinion on one sermon and as I said the congregation that regularly attends seemed like good Christians.

I’ve known the pastoral staff over 20 years and it’s wonderful to be a part of such nurturing and Christ loving group of men in this area. They are people you can get to know and truly call on when you need them. Bless them one and all!

My wife and I attended a Sunday service maybe a year ago. Not a friendly congregation at all. Not even a friendly hello, handshake or welcome to our church. We were in search of a home church and I know this isn't the one!!! Nothing like the warm welcome backed with love compared to the Calvary Chapels in Oceanside.

First time attending and I must say I love it here! People are very friendly and the service was very informative and I love the chorus! Daycare is a big plus and I love the system they have there; so as to make you feel assured knowing your child is safe and secured where you leave them. I will be coming back very soon!

Laid back music and a teacher that uses the Greek, Hebrew, and scholarly sources to bring the bible to life. If you want a "MEATY" teaching in your Christian walk, this is the teacher/church for you and your family. Great child teaching and worship as well.

Shame on this church and the pastor. No remorse, care or compassion for grieving families! Taking down memorial crosses, of a man who was killed on your property! This is not the work of the Lord! Hateful church.
