This place is the worst and the thing is if you want services they contact law enforcement and then the cops come to your house and take you to a mental hospital where you can be evaluated by one of they're doctors. Wrong place to go to for your meds after they again call 911 on you! Don't go here think twice! They harassed me and they get the cops to harass the community plus I was overdosed on meds that made me sleep all day long! Awful place.

My daughter went here because she was being extremely abusive and attacking me. My first issue was the fact that there was little to no interest other than a check. So the only time I heard anything is when I complained. The behavior coach Julie never showed up. When she did she talked to me instead of my daughter. I went to two supervisors Geoff and Julie E, they back their employees bad behavior and lack of professionalism. I decided to go over their heads and to be honest that didn't work. I've worked with several people within the company. I would seriously doubt there's one person willing to do their job. The problem with the situation is no one has to do their job so nothing will be done to change it. They literally sent my daughter home said she was fine with the same behaviors.

Inquired about anger management therapy. Said I want to just pay for services, no insurance, and make the best of my time. I was declined services because they wont accept people who pay for themselves. Go here if you want someone else to pay for it, and never get healed. They obviously want to get long terms customers backed by insurance so they can charge outrageous amounts, for extended long term set up, they have no intention of healing anyone here, just taking insurance money. How am I not supposed to get angry about that.

One star is way too good for this joke of a place. I'm writing this for my girlfriend, but I have been here too. First, and I don't know how to put this mildly, the staff should learn what "feminine hygiene" is before making people go into tiny rooms with them. Second, my girlfriend was LIED to by staff regarding whether they do counseling for alcohol when court mandated. She asked specifically and was told "yes" by two separate employees. She signed up and took the paperwork to court. Turns out that they are not mandated for this. When the court asked for La Frontera to verify what they had done, they refused and essentially blamed my girlfriend for the whole thing. Now my girlfriend has to deal with not being in compliance with the court and this place could NOT CARE LESS!!!!! When you do wrong, you should rectify the situation, not deny it, which is what JULIE who works as a supervisor here did. The staff doesn't know anything, they are super incompetent! There might be a couple people here who deserve their paycheck, but I cannot point them out to you. Don't waste your time or money, or your insurance money! Go elsewhere!!!

I want to point out how stupid these woman at intake are. Stupid and lazy. I called to make a first time appointment. They told me my insurance only covers psychiatry not counseling. You would think and idiot who works with insurance would know something about the affordable care act . My plan does cover counseling...not marriage or religious counseling but it is covered. They are arguing with me even after I called my insurance to double check. Ive worked in insurance before. They should have taken the time to call my insurance to get the benefits. Lazy dumb idiots. It's a wonder you have jobs. Kiss my ads.

Tonya is outstanding. She immediately welcomed us in and gave me a bunch of resources. Initially, I went into this place a but skeptical. I felt like this would just be one of those places that are driven by funding. Tonya didn't give me that vibe. She was warm, friendly and very engaging. I felt this calmness about her! I pray that the other staff meet these expectations and beyond!

I agree that through the years, the front desk staff has gotten a bit short with people, but man kudos to everyone else, I’ve been with EMPACT 11 years I’ve seen them evolve, but through each doctor and therapist and case manager and peer support they’ve always been good to me and my family, has helped me in so many ways, and I’ve seen them help others too. Now they just need Julie back and a few others & they’d be set!
