Hands down you have the most compassionate people working at DPW Lomita starting with the leadership of Michael, the district manager. I want to give a big shout-out to Chris, our awesome inspector! He was super helpful during this stressful time of repairs to our home and to guide us on what needed to be done. I have nothing respect for the team in DPW Building and Safety in Lomita do not hesitate to reach out to them for assistance as they are ready to help! If I could, I would give them a 10 out of 10 they deserve it!

Building and Safety collected to high for our project. and they charge us more than thousand to be exact $1,030 for 2,000 sq footage plus Business license for less than $600. So expensive compare to other cities. We are protesting how they calculated per sq footage and pointing fingers from Building and Safety and planning division. And they reasons why the cost are high because typically Lomita City permits run high. OWNERS AND CONTRACTORS ARE SO DISAPPOINTED WITH PERMIT FEES 🙁 🙁
