Very cute rustic place with an A* breakfast and other meal options.
Service is good.
While there order for the kimball breakfast,it is very filling and may last you the whole day.
Hubby had some cocktails too and highly recommends.

I’ve lived just a couple of exits away for over six years, but I had never thought to stop by until now. I’m so glad I did! The service here was absolutely outstanding. Our server, Wilbur, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He was incredibly attentive, always keeping our drinks and water full without us ever having to ask. His friendly demeanor and genuine hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable.

The food was delicious as well, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. After dinner, I really appreciated how easy it was to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the beautiful views nearby. This visit exceeded my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

First time here, went purely out of convenience, in the same parking lot as the best western. Fun atmosphere, music, cornhole, clean and safe atmosphere. Very friendly servers, fast service. Fresh hot food, good portions, fair prices, full bar, good variety on the menu. Highly recommend and would return.

Have been to this place over 20 times for lunch now. TONYA and LEAH are the kindest servers/bartenders and are super on point.

The cooks kill it day by day providing same quality food every trip. And don’t get me started on the special soup of the day.

Highly recommend this place for anybody looking for affordable food around National City!

I was visiting San Diego for Comicon, Kimball Coastal Eatery shares a parking lot with Best Western Plus Marina Gateway. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and beautiful. I ordered Kristina's Bagel Sandwiche and met Kristina because she is good at EVERYTHING in the restaurant! She can do any job in the building!!!
I highly recommend this restaurant, and you MUST meet Kristina!

*Edit. This place has the best breakfast board you can find!! It just keeps getting better!! This breakfast board includes all the favs! And a new waiter Andrew who was so attentive and professional!! He really made the experience great!! Great food great staff!!! Beautiful environment!

We frequent this place often and usually request Jay or Tanya Those 2 have excellent service the kind you don't find anymore! They were not available so This time we had Andrew who referred to himself as Jay's protege. He is new but is doing a good job. The menu offered a new item The breakfast board! It was like $37 for 2 people and offered all the breakfast greats! You get pancakes, french toast, chicken and waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon!!! I swear for the portions and variety you can't beat that anywhere!!! And it was so good!!! The only problem we had was our table had not been wiped down and the place wasn't as clean as it usually is. We went on father's day morning and sat outside. I'm assuming it was still dirty from the night before. We were a huge group and they were happy to accommodate us right away. It's the second time we go with a group of 12 without reservations and they have been very accommodating. I was really happy with our experience!

The food was good and service was fast. Under staffed at first but more staff came in as we were eating. I would recommend and my experiences was good. I came in for breakfast but I want to try the dinner menu.

This was the best dining experience I've ever had in the US. Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. I had a veggie burger which is out of this world! Fish tacos are a must and the churros for the best finish. Thank you thank you thank you!
