Want to make a real difference in the lives of young people and our community, may I suggest looking at JA. I've never been one to volunteer for anything, always making excuses. A seed was planted over a year ago after speaking with Carolyn about what they do and why its so important.

Our kids are missing out on valuable life lessons in our schools. Financial Literacy, resume writing, job hunting, networking. JA is there.

I've volunteered for JA twice now for a total of around 10 hours. When a student comes up to you and end of the program, looks you in the eye, shakes your hand and says thanks for taking the time, its all worth it. When they see you in public and remember you and say hello, it worth it.

If you can donate Financially, do so. If you can donate your time I promise it will change you as much as it will change them.
