Awesome co-op RV park. Friendly people, nice location and reasonable rates. We stayed a week in January 2024 and like it so much we became members and will spend part of every winter here beginning in November. Please note, you must be a member of Escapees to reserve a guests spot, and can stay and enjoy all of the facilities for as little as $15 a night for a boondock site with waster and a dump station nearby.

I've been full time for two years in the RV, but this place has so much to offer, I may settle here! I put up a deposit...the list was over 40 people long trying to get a spot. In 6 months of waiting I moved up to number 20 on the stand by list.

I think because SoCal is so busy there are less long term Rv spots to stay. When jojoba resort said they had a spot I didn’t see the red flags ahead of time. When I called and booked a spot she reminded me they are a “quiet” resort. Yes you can hear a pin drop. Sites are large which is nice. Took us over an hour just to get from the resort to hey 15 because of the horrible traffic coming down the hill from the resort. The owners of the site we were staying in decided to visit and do “yard work” while we’re there and all their friends came to visit . It was awkward they were there for a half day. I was confronted by a neighbor 2 rows down while I was on a walk one day, he said that we need to put our recyclable boards in the proper bin (that was not marked) and he knew it was us so do not deny it. It was a odd vibe there and we have a 7 year old. It is an over 55 community but they make exceptions for escapee members. It was hard to relax there. Felt like we were walking on egg shells. You can stay long term but 28 days is the max. You need to purchase the escapees membership to stay here as well.

Their yearly 300 family yard sale was a bunch of typical items. If you want to come make sure you are there at opening for any chance of decent finds.

We love staying here when we are in so-cal. All of the workers are so nice, as are most of the people. The amenities are great and very well kept. It is very quiet, which we enjoy. It’s definitely a drive to most places we want to be, but we really enjoy being here inbetween exploring. 🙂

This RV park is the definition of a Resort!
Visitors have access to all the resort's amenities, and there are a lot!
Besides the usual pickleball and mini-golf, they have a ceramics building with two kilns, a glass works, a well equipped wood shop, metal shop, sewing room, craft room, commercial kitchen, library, gym, beautiful pool (kept at 84 degrees) two hot tubs, one inside, one outside, a card room, mailroom, pool (billiards) room, a massive hall with a stage for in-house produced plays and events with local bands. They have dinners and parties quite a lot.
There is more: a golf driving range, an air gun range, remote airplane area, two dog parks, a long-arm quilting machine, three laundry rooms and four bath houses, a sauna, a covered patio for parties.
Wait, there's more! Six relaxing ponds, a meditation area, all sites are extra large with a 8x10 shed with electricity and most sites have a beautiful mountain view.
The resort is located in the heart of Temecula wine country. Wineries are nearby to the north, south, and west.
Well, that is only some of what this park offers. More stuff keeps popping into my head like the Ranch House! Jojobians can reserve the Ranch House at anytime for any reason, but if you have family or friends visiting, the Ranch House is available for you to entertain them! Full kitchen, living room with big screen TV, fireplace, outside area to relax and enjoy.
And of course the weather is amazing! Warm days, cool nights in the winter, hot days cool nights in the summer.
What is missing from my review? The People! The folks here have had a double dose of the kool-aid! Everyone is so very friendly and helpful.
If you "buy-in" you are a member. So you are not a property owner in California, so you can domicile where you want. No California income tax, no California property tax.
Final thought! You will never regret buying in at Jojoba Hills RV Resort. Just $42k to buy in in 2024.
