My daughter has been dancing at JDI Dance Company since she was 2 years old..though if you ask her, she’ll tell you she’s been dancing there since birth! Lol She’s now almost 8, and the growth we’ve seen in her, both in skill and confidence, has been incredible. We started with recitals and eventually transitioned into the competitive team, and it’s been the best decision we could’ve made.

The staff and instructors at JDI are amazing. Their care for the students is genuine and consistent, and the communication is absolutely unmatched. We’ve tried other activities(tumbling, cheer, camp) and I always joke that JDI has ruined me for other programs because the communication and organization elsewhere just never compares. At JDI, you're never left wondering what's going on..they over-communicate in the best way possible and truly make every family feel informed and supported.

On top of that, the training and creativity is off the charts. The training, choreography, the costumes, the props..it’s all top-notch and so thoughtfully executed. We are incredibly thankful to be part of the JDI family. Thank you for all that you do. Your team truly goes above and beyond, and it shows!

Stayed at the Embassy Suites in Downey LA and throughout the night, the kids were ridiculously loud and rambunctious. This was on 3/22/25. The parents were a drunk mess and completely negligible. No responsibility was taken by the parents and no one apologized. They left the lobby a mess with lipstick covered limes and white claw cans littered about (see photos below).

We knew they were from the dance company because they were rocking merch they probably paid too much for.

Negligent parents and loud kids? What’s not to love!!

Love this place!!!! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this dance studio. All 3 of my kiddos (8, 6 and 4) have been dancing there since they were 18 months old. We have done many recital level classes as well as competition teams with this studio and recommend it to anyone who asks. The environment is like a big family; the owners, teachers and other employees who work here are exceptional. We are so blessed that this is the closest studio to our home and proudly rock our JDI gear everywhere we go. Bring your kid to try a class, I promise they will love it!!!!

They truly do such an amazing job with these kids creating a safe, welcoming and loving environment. JDI Dance Company has been an exceptional place for my three daughters to grow both as dancers and as individuals. Each of my girls started dancing at JDI at just 18 months and joined the competition team at the age of 3. Now they are thriving in a nurturing and empowering environment.

Whether you are looking for recreational dance or competitive dance classes JDI is the place to be. Having experience at other dance studios as our family had moved homes, I can say that JDI welcomed my girls and I with open arms. It has been my daughters home away from home, and it is where they love spending all of their free time. It has been a place to build friendships, improve their dance technique, and most of all have FUN! We love the teachers, parents, and owners of the studio so much that we consider them family. JDI offers classes for all ages and experience levels!

Have you ever just walked into a place and felt so welcomed and that you were so glad you decided to come? That’s what my first impression was like when I first walked into JDI for my oldest daughter’s first dance class!
My daughter has loved dancing since before she could walk so I knew signing her up for a dance class would be something we’d be doing for her at a young age. One of my friends told me about this place & I thought I’d give it a shot! The first day I brought my daughter in, she was nervous and shy but WOW the instructors really went out their way to make sure my little 3 year old felt safe and comfortable. I left the studio in shock with how sweet they were (I didn’t even make it to the car without calling my husband first and telling him how amazing it was here! Lol) Fast forward to today…… we STILL love JDI! My daughter is now 5 and has learned SO much here and thinks of this place as her 2nd home! My 2 year old just started her first season at JDI and again, they are soooo patient when teaching and she loves it!

JDI is nothing short of amazing. They treat everyone as if they’re family. From the front desk, back office, to the dance rooms, you will always find the sweetest staff there. If you’re looking for a studio, give this place a shot and stay awhile. You won’t regret it!
