Jay’s Legacy Foundation is an amazing organization and after reading the origins of the foundation and their values, I resonated with it so much. I lost my father to cancer at 16 years old and have struggled with grief ever since. This experience led me to wanting to become a grief counselors to help others. After reading about Jay’s story and the beautiful work the foundation has been doing in his honour, it inspired me so much. I applied for the Jay’s Legacy Scholarship and was picked as recipient. Everyone who has communicated with me and met with me, has been so kind and compassionate and I am so grateful for the opportunity that this scholarship has provided for me to further continue my education. Thank you so much to Jay’s Legacy Foundation for believing in my hopes and dreams and providing the opportunity that you have for me. Jay’s Legacy granted me a scholarship for my entire first year of nursing school, and I could not be more grateful.
