When searching for an assisted living home for a family member we toured 8 facilities. Westmont stood out with its clean, bright and welcoming atmosphere but honestly it’s the staff that makes it home. Mina especially, who went far above and beyond for us, made the transition as easy as possible. Her dedication went past her workday, calling us after work hours to check in with us. Her professional, calm, and very caring demeanor reassured us that Westmont was the perfect place for our loved one.

I was impressed by the level of customer service we received from Mina Gill. I appreciated her transparency and flexibility to work with our needs, and her continued support during the entire process (as this is my first experience of seeking senior living for a family member). It was such a welcoming place, where you are always greeted by the staff. The room was clean and spacious. Although the application process was quite involved, Mina Gill made the process easy and fast. We truly appreciated her assistance and follow-up to make the whole process less tedious. I was extremely impressed by the level of customer service we received by Mina Gill. She made the process of helping my grandfather find a home simple. She even went above and beyond setting up a consultation with a nurse at our home. She showed she cared through hard work and consistent honest communication.

November 2024 Update: Buyers beware! While the statements I made in the original review are still valid, I am taken aback by the 12% increase in rent effective January 2025. The historical rent increases (see the attached) did not come close to the 12%. At this rate, many tenants will move out!

Original review:
I started looking for an assisted living facility for mom before dad passed away. After touring a few facilities, mom and I decided on Westmont at Milpitas for several reasons. It is located about 15 minutes away from the airport which is a huge advantage as I fly to San Jose from Texas to visit mom on a monthly basis. It is also within two-miles from 99 Ranch Supermarket where mom can buy Asian foods and cook in her kitchen for mom. Staff is and working very hard to take care of residents. Many activities are planned daily and every night is movie night.I thought mom would only stay a few months, while I settle dad’s estate in Taiwan but now she plans on staying for a long time

What an experience! We were invited to tour my Uncle’s home and truly enjoyed the live music. I haven’t seen my Uncle dance and enjoy himself in a long time. From the moment we arrived , we were greeted so warmly at the front reception and welcomed by all the staff at Westmont. I'm so pleased to see how active my Uncle has been since his relocation to the area. They have an indoor pool, lovely courtyard for gatherings, a movie theatre! If you are looking for a place for your Mom and Dad, I highly recommend Westmont!

We helped a family member choose an assisted living home. We chose Westmont facility, which is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The staff we interact with are knowledgeable and empathetic. I highly recommend you tour their facility if they have an opening.

My brother and I are looking for a place to host the next chapter and have been looking all over the South Bay. This place is the best we have found. The staff are great, the apartments are lovely, and the food is delicious! Cheers.
