When I first came to the Peninsula I had no idea how many resources there are for help when you need it, people who understand and do everything they can to help.
What surprised me most is the check-up phone calls I get when they don't hear from me in awhile just to see how I am doing and if there us anything they can do to help.
If The Independent Living Center isn't the right place to help me, they point me in the right direction and give me phone numbers.

They are very helpful with people with disabilities. They assist them with quite a few things plus they have equipment such as bike helmets etc.
