Unexpectedly blew up my life and ended up here. This is a great place to go if you need to get yourself together/ find yourself homeless.
Each resident is assigned a bed and dresser, each bed area has a plastic curtain around it so that residents can enjoy a bit of a privacy.
The place has free, strong wifi, a computer room, an exercise room, a laundry room, meals are provided.
Residents come and go as they please (for the most part). The rules are very simple, everyone is assigned a chore. The staff are kind, residents can work a job and save up money because rent is not charged here.And it's fairly simple to get in.

Every community should have something like this.
This place is a blessing.

I called for information.
And not only was I treated with complete disrespect, when I asked for the reception for is name..he hung up on me. I actually reached out to administrators left voicemail and have not received a call back.
It's quite shameful the way I was treated for no reason.

IFC community house is a very special place. One of it's primary Goals is to provide assistance to people who find themselves in devastating situations which can't be overcome without some type of help. IFC house provides shelter, food, clothing, medical assistance, and a variety of other resources for those who may need temporary assistance to overcome a crisis. There is a screening process that must be adhered to. You can't just walk up to the doors and ask for help. Call the facility and you will be told how to proceed.
