I cannot speak highly enough about Vilma, my case manager at Hub Cities. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to ensure I was set up for success. Her guidance and support throughout the program were exceptional. She took the time to understand my goals and provided me with the resources and direction I needed. Thanks to Vilma’s dedication, I completed the program feeling confident and prepared, which directly led to me being hired by LA County. She was hella patient with me on days I was stressed and frustrated.. I’m incredibly grateful for her commitment to my success!

I have been waiting for I think over a month now to be assisted and every time I’ve spoken with someone they say “hopefully next week” then next week comes and NOTHING happens. I appreciate that Amber Robles called me after I emailed her but there is something very wrong/broken with the system they have. People like us are counting on them and I bet if it was THEIR paychecks being affected they’d have a much different sense of urgency. I don’t feel like anyone cares about me and I’m just being put to the side now cause I’ve complained and asked for updates. What’s also extremely upsetting is I was told to bring my documents to orientation as if that was supposed to help the process move faster. Nope. Didn’t make any difference whatsoever. Why mislead the people who decided to go with you? No one ever explained to me why they also told me they expected to get their “numbers” weeks ago and why they supposedly haven’t gotten them yet. I hope no one ever has to go through what I’ve been through cause the experience has been HELL.

The ladies in the front need more professional training was waiting for 45min til Ms Monica was the only one who came and ask me for my name and she told the other girl with tattoos in the front that I’ve been there for a while waiting and the girl’s response was idk I wasn’t here when she was the one who checked me In any way Velma was great at explaining everything to me that’s why I give it a 4 star.⭐️

This center is amazing for anyone who is looking for employment and or if you need help going to college. The staff is great, one of my counselors named Jose Ruelas is the person who got me a job my last year in high school. He is great person very informative and clear on what you needed to bring and have to get the job. The second person is Paula Torres one of the kindest and nicest person who works there. She will also do anything for you so you can get your job. The last person is Christopher from EDD that will help you get into the college that you want and will help you get through the whole process of the application for the college. Also he will get you through the procees of any financial aid application. The best part of this place is that you are greeted with the most kind receptionist Yoandar Perez. She will always greet you with a smile and is always ready to help.
