If you are a rich person and you can't go to a regular rehab because it might embarrass you family name or whatever then this is the place for you. If you are from the streets and want to get a closer relationship with God.....STAY FAR AS YOU CAN from this place... Especially if you slip up they will disown you act like they NEVER knew you.....If you like to snitch or as they say hold your sister accountable so u can get away with whatever you will make it far in this program. If your from the real world and you did not grow up with $$ or like the movie mean girls this program will mess your life up if you go back to that life style that statistically 89% don't get it right the 1rst time.

I love the Hoving Home. It gave me a safe place to heal. I was able to get delivered from many addictions. I was able to get some restoration with my Daughter and other members of my family. I also was able to not only complete the 12 month program I was accepted into the leadership academy program they offer to further my education with the Lord. I have a family here and I am blessed. I hope I can now be a blessing to others. ?

Hoving Home has transformed my life. I didn't know about God but here I have learned to have a relationship with our Lord Jesus. My relationship with my children is now stronger than ever. I finished my 12 month program. And by God's will I was accepted into the leadership academy. Here I am learning to become a good leader just like Jesus.

I had signed up for the 12-month program and I only stayed five months. It’s a great program for those who have been institutionalized their whole lives or on the streets but it really didn’t offer me anything except a place to refrain from drinking. They are severely understaffed and the staff need to humble themselves and be better stewards of God (with the exception of Eneida and the volunteers, they were amazing). Plus I didn’t like how they pushed the whole speaking of tongues on me. I think this place is better than a 12-step rehab but I probably wouldn’t come back here if I needed help again.

My daughter was a resident at Walter Hoving Home in Pasadena from 3-6-2020 to 4-6-2020. She was doing great up until 3-27-20. My daughter met someone in the program who gave her drugs and that is when she started to back slide. On 4-6-20 she called me crying wanting to leave, so I picked her up and when we got home and as I went through her belongings from Hoving home, I found a baggie with drug residue and a lighter. My daughter only stayed home for 3 days, just enough time to rest and go back on the streets to use again. When I called to let them know what happened Tracy tried to cover it up and did not pray with me or for my daughter. If this is such a Godly place I am left sadden by the way drugs can come into their home and victims like my daughter are now back to being in danger of using drugs again and possibly with the people she meets on the streets.This place is ran like a homeless shelter not a rehab and the staff does not care about their residents!!!! Also, the other Hoving homes have bedbugs and other issues. I am so disappointed and will not recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction!!!!!

I went to take my sister there and the staff is just so great. Ther nice friendly and loveing, they sertinly do show the love of Jesus. I love that its clean smells good and organize thank you Jesus nd thank u Hoving Home for all that u do for these beautiful woman!!! What a great JOB u guys do!!!!!?

Hoving Home is a place where the hopeless are given hope, and where broken lives are restored through the power of God's love. It's a tremendous asset to our community, and I love coming here to volunteer.
