Trash . I have been trying to get in contact with them for the longest . I have left voice mails and not a call back . It very irritating.
And the lady today wasn’t so bad but low key lazy to help a girl
Out . She said I would see what I have missing on the website and if not to call her and she will help me . Mind this …. I been calling and not a call back . Nobody answering . I don’t have a car to keep going back and forward . For them to take me seriously …. What the whole point of having a phone number if they are not gonna answer …..

This place is a joke, nobody ever gets back to you unless you got to put your foot down to speak with a supervisor, worker is always out of the office so you can never get your issued addressed in time, and it always seems like no one is ever willing to help you or answer your questions even the front desk. I get that they are understaffed but when you have inquiries that are not addressed for more than a month or even a year there's just no excuse. I recent did my recertification and it's been 2 months already to see or hear about any type of adjustments or changes but yet they want YOU to do it within a certain time line or you'll get penalized.. make it make sense!

I specifically applied for housing assistance with my son. We're both disabled adults. I live with spinal stenosis , diabetes, heart disease/ pace maker and other health problems. My son was conceived with Crouzons Syndrome at birth. As a result he is intellectually slow but is able to do as much as he can daily. In fact my son assist me in my daily care due to limitations in my mobility.

We applied for the waiting list that recently opened. My son receives a lousy $1100 per month. He is several thousands in debt trying to survive. Each month his entire monetary benefits goes toward bills. He has nothing left. If I were to die today my son would be left to fend against predators, something I have always fought to protect him against.

Our county government and those tasked with providing housing assistance to those most vulnerable and in need are failing. But I'm willing to bet that the reluctance has to do with the fact the end of year is closing in and managers/ supervisors are looking for a bonus. It doesn't matter that our county has individuals who are disabled, elder, naive and vulnerable- VICTIMS of a failed system that continues to deny housing at a time when homelessness is at its worst.

No. Neither I nor my son should feel compelled / forced to enter into a group home or assistive living arrangements when there are countless lives with various disabilities receiving Section 8 HCV Statewide, living independently. My son nor I even with combined income can afford rent. I too have a large debt. And as it stands the food banks don't offer much but expired goods and very little at that. It is appalling that we would be rejected for HCV/ PBV or any other program that could assist us with paying a fair market rate in rent.

Those of us receiving less then $20k annually are in extreme poverty. Our govt is contributing to the mental health crisis that is either the cause or affect plaguing our streets, our community. Meanwhile our governor has recently rescinded and has now authorized law enforcement to cite our homeless population which includes lower blue collar working individuals dwelling from their vehicles. How repulsive!!

My son worries every night if I'll wake up the next day because once I'm gone he has no family or friends to call or seek guidance from . Here we are in election year and democrats want us to trust in them to do the right thing for us all. Fkn joke!!

They treat you as if your second class citizen because we have an vocher and need help , they even look at you like you’re below them . if i could give no stars i would .

Waste of time. Rude customer service especially the miserable receptionist with glasses. She refused to acknowledge their website even though I showed it to her, she just shut me down. Wasn't helpful whatsoever. I asked for a brief summary of the program but was provided with no help at all besides rude and sarcastic comments.

Beyond horrible!!!!! I had to contact HUD just to get basic stuff done. They’re discriminative and will go out their way to try to get you off the program. I’ve called multiple times only to be greeted by the receptionist, laughing on the phone as they answer! Patty Mora Is so incompetent like most of them are and can barely do their jobs, right! Management is never around and you can call for weeks with no response.
