Always find at least 1 hidden treasure on any given day. It closes at 4pm. Nice staff. Weekly discounted sale items. Very quaint thrift store. Decent prices, not like goodwill whose flipped their lids with their ridiculous pricing. .

I've come a couple times and donated (and I've looked around for stuff). There's usually only one person working on the floor so just know your visit might not be that quick. The first time I waited about 5 minutes at the cashier's desk just to donate a bag of clothes. But no problem, just don't go if you're short on time. On my second visit someone took the bags I was donating from me right after I parked. Your experience may vary.

They carry mostly women's clothes. Right now they have some Christmas items and cards, which was cool! I went on a Friday and there was a special sale that day - if I recall, dresses were $1. Their clothing is good quality and good prices on days that don't have special deals. I got a wool coat for $7. Blouses are $3. I think pants are also $3. I don't know how often prices change, but those were the prices as of November 2021.

There's a section for shoes, a children's section, a bookshelf of DVDs (and I think another of CDs), a Plus Size section, sheets/fabric, some gadgets, and kitchenware. They also have a bunch of cheap plants. Really cute.

Parking only fits like 6 cars at once, so you might have to park on a nearby street.

Although, I rarely write reviews this is necessary due to what I witnessed today. First, the House of Yahweh has absolutely NO Black people that I have seen as a resident in the neighborhood receive food or services...today a woman/mother was turned away while many Men, Hispanics received boxes of food. Based on what I SAW AND MANY OTHERS THIS PLACE DOES NOT deserve donations when they are committed to serving ALL regardless of race, but perhaps RACE DOES MATTER. This is not what I consider "OF GOD" WHICH IS WHAT YAHWEH means. They should be ashamed of themselves and apologies to any family of color being shunned or turned away by this place.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR DONATE TO THIS SO CALLED CHARITY GIVEN THIS FALSE STATEMENT --"The center is known for its commitment to addressing social issues like homelessness, hunger, and poverty. It also provides opportunities for individuals seeking to volunteer and make a difference in their community. The center is recognized for its work with victims of domestic violence and low-income families. It is a trusted organization for those wanting to contribute to meaningful cause." IF YOU NEED FOOD PLEASE CALL THE SALVATION ARMY OR 211 AND DONATE TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT VALUE FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY FOR ALL. Shame on the "house of yahweh" 🙁

This place has a great Lil food bank for peeps in need of food. Emergency food available! You call and they put on the list with a day/time. You bring a few $$ for donation, & then they give you a huge box of food! Wonderful

I am happy to find the House of Yahweh, I was trying to find the place and I finally found it, and I can’t wait to visit it.

When I came to this country I came with almost nothing. I bought a chest of drawers in 1993 from this place, I still
have it. I remember going there for Thanksgiving meals, they were yummy and volunteers treated us with love and much respect. At the time my oldest child was so young. My husband, my daughter and I were never cold because I used to get our clothes from this place. It was such a blessing! And I want to take this opportunity to say THANKS!God bless your work.

I've been coming to this place since i was 12. I'm 26 now. My mom would bring us to get free food since we didn't have extra money for all the necessities. The place was opened by a sister whom i do not recall her name. We would shop as well for clothes and things we needed. Now a day, we still come. I am now a working adult and thanks to this place and my mom thrifting is my hobby and what keeps my back warm. I volunteer in the garden area from time to time, when i am not working. They have roses galore and plenty of plants and herbs. Please support this thrift store as they help the most in need and provide assistance for all who needs it.
