HOPE took over the Rose Motel in Sanger to help those in need in the community, they are not helping an of the people that I know who are in need, they turned them all away. This makes no sense, a non-profit claiming to help the community is doing nothing but receiving grants from our government for their own benefits. I wouldn't have even given one star, it gave me no other option!

I thought this place was to help people who are homeless. But they charge 50. A night for one moldy bed and very moldy rooms that made my son who has asthma very sick. Plus all the churches donate to them becouse they are suppose to help you find a place which they don't. And if your short 10 dollars they won't let you pay them later, they tell you pay or leave. And they make you pay upfront on the weekend ,they say no one works on the weekend. So if your homeless don't expect them to help you with anything you have to pay for everything .

I was in a motorcycle accident in Aug. 2019 and recovering in Sanger at a skilled nursing facility. Afterwards in mid-December I began to rent at HOPE Sanger as a tenant and permanent resident according to CA law( See leginfo.legislature.ca.gov; Civil Codes in Housing and Community Development).
Then on Dec. 31, 2020, I was threatened by another HOPE Sanger tenant who also at the time was an angry maintenance worker for the establishment. That same day I made a public statement and such words very quickly entered the ears of Julie Mendoza who runs HOPE Sanger. The next day on Jan. 1, 2021, clearly and expressly against my civil housing rights, Julie "forced" me against my will and the CDC's Eviction Moratorium in-force into an "involuntary quit" and I vacated the establishment in order to protect my roommate's tenancy.
Then in Sept. 2021, I was visiting my friend and past roommate spending one night as his guest. Julie Mendoza heard of my presence and proceeded to call the Sanger Police to illegally have me barred from the property under threat of arrest. It was done illegally because Julie had to fabricate lies to describe my behavior in order for police to enforce her false complaint.
You, the public, are deceived. As I described, this is how tenants are treated at HOPE Sanger AND worse!!
FACT: The human and civil rights afforded to all housing tenants by the laws of The State of CA are being grossly VIOLATED by Julie Mendoza and her property manager. And the monies from collected rents and donations are certainly not being invested into the property or the lives of the poor tenants who there.
FACT: Legal evictions afford tenants due process of law and ONLY through the state's Civil Courts.

Me and my family moved here from Florida. We stayed at hotel's because we were having a hard time finding a place to rent due to us having to many kids (3) a dog and a fat cat. We were running out of money because hotels are very expensive. This place helped us out. God bless them always. Awesome place.
