My boyfriend and I went here to seek assistance. We have been homeless for a couple months and we're hoping there would be some helpful resources we could use to help get us on our feet. We got there and it was a long line behind a locked gate. Nothing posted or no one telling us what we do to get started . We stood there awkwardly for a few moments, until we noticed a person who had what looked like a name badge walking out. We asked him how do we get started if we have never been here before? He told us to approach the security guard at the gate and tell him we were new . So we went up to the security guard by the locked gate where several people were coming out loaded with tons of food. We were very hungry and hot cause we took a couple buses there and it was very hot that day and we haven't eaten anything. We told the security guard we were new there and wanted assistance with housing and any resources for homelessness. He asked if we had identification and my boyfriend said no cause his backpack was stolen no long ago . He told us to wait and someone will call us. So we waited in the sun with no where to sit , there were some seats that were all taken by people eating all this food they had just gotten. Then the security guard hands us each a card with a name on it, and tells us to wait for the case workers with these names to come find us. We stood in the sun for quite some time and finally my boyfriend's worker came out. She motioned him over to the gate to speak to her through the gate right where all of these rather obnoxious young men were eating stacks of food. Right away she told him through the gate, we don't do housing here, we can place people in tiny homes etc. and he's like well that's what I was wanting and she says we'll u really need to have an id and right then a man sitting down eating rudely requested that they take the conversation elsewhere because he was trying to eat! We hadn't eaten in awhile and after waiting and waiting in the heat and having to talk through the gate and not be able to sit down, he had just had it ...he turned to me and handed me the card with the workers name that I handed her along with mone and he said screw this place. Just then one of the people there eating the free food they had just got turns and takes his key chain to beep his car alarm on. We looked at each other like omg we don't belong here!' so we left . What a waste of time! So unprofessional and we really needed the help and still do! Where we are now is being cleaned out tomorrow morning by police and county workers and all belongings will be thrown away !! We would be moving them if we had somewhere to go! Or store things! Now I don't know what we're going to do! It's freezing at night now and they will take everything we have including blankets! Does anyone care about anything anymore? What a crazy world we live n now!

I was sent there. I went and I was told I couldn't.br offered service. After speaking to someone I'm the office I was told to return the following day. When I returned I was again told I would not be given services.theure a joke!!

I attempted to seek help with that program today, but was rejected for application simply because I didn't sleep in that area of the streets last night. And that I was referred back to the place I rested yesterday in L.A.. This program helps people? More like helps people that they "choose" and not to the general public.

Jacqueline & Danielle Are My Favorite People as well as Arthur - in my times if need they have always helped me especially during COVID - turns out my favorite game show host helped build these centers - im so thrilled we have people in life like this that exist

This is in regards to the time ? Why are you able to lock the doors before you close? Like today You're open until 3 pm for showers however you seem to think it's OK to lock the gate @ 2.35pm? I don't believe you are loud to do so and I will look into this .otherwise this place is great
