My husband and I visited Hope Missions as we usually do when visiting Morehead City, to my husbands dis-belief he was looking in the jewelry case and came across his 25 yrs of service UPS ring that he had lost last at Pine Knoll Shores on the beach July 2024. He thought it was gone forever, the Manager once hearing his story was kind enough to return the ring, God bless her for her kindness and as it says in the Bible expect a miracle. This made our whole weekend.

Hope mission does nothing for the homeless I was there all during the bitter cold trying to get help and sleeping ou t of my truck I couldn't even ge t help with gas m I need to look for a job there are no beds for outsiders only the people in there drug program that work there I even tried to get can food from. The pantry and was told they didn't have any I hadn't ate in 3 days a the money they get from churches and different organizations they help no outsiders so if ur homeless and cold d I nt count on hope mission they are worthless.

The thought and appearance is there for sobriety.
You have to want it.
In the end what matters is how much physical free labor they can use you for to benefit them. Success rate is not good. For example 80% in Pic failed at sobriety after 6mnths in the program.
