Just wanted to take the time and give props to Sean, Alvin and the entire Highland YMCA staff for being fabulous. Not only do they work fearlessly to keep each basketball season going consistently but, also care about the children and families that attend daily! My son recently misplaced his phone and was absolutely devastated about it. Sean and staff worked with us to help locate the phone. The phone hunt ended successfully thanks to the quick efforts and follow up of staff. I’m grateful and humbled by attention dedicated to resolving the issue! Keep up the great work , you all are doing an awesome job

Always have a good experience. Great place for beginners to start working out and they have a great variety of sports and activities for the little ones. Love it

Been going here since 2012 and the staff have always been friendly! I've even managed to lose 40lbs from frequenting this place so often.

I can't speak on behalf of any programs or facilities other than the gym here, but I certainly have no complaints other than it can be a bit busy in the morning with older folks or parents I'm assuming, so if you're a gym rat, you probably want to try and schedule for the early afternoon to late afternoon to get use out of the machines you want.

Though that's no fault of the staff, just a little frustrating when you want to continue ur workout and you see someone just sitting on a machine on their phone for 45 minutes.

Overall fairly clean, and its close by if you just moved to Highland (:

There has to be someone besides Alvin that pucks the teams he knows what he is doing. He has something against my grandson Kamari. He needs to play fair… Discrimination at its highest! They gone suspend the Mexican kid but kick my grandson off the team that is no way right!

What good is it to pay so little for a monthly membership if I can’t use all the amenities as I’m available… open swim varies everyday from one hour to 4 hours a day. How is it convenient to plan around just one hour a day with everything els (great way for me to not use the pool at all) … it’s my second attempt going in to use my new gym card today and I’m upset that the pool is already closed for open swim and Sundays Pool is closed and weekends they barely open the gym.

To add to insult I was finally in trying to take advantage of the trip and was told to leave because I was prepared for the pool with slides and I cannot use the walking machine in slides. I hate them so far.

Friendly staff and great value without the contract hassles at for-profit gyms. Plus they have a pool! Never very busy, you won't have to wait for machines. Doesn't have racquetball court like Redlands. Lots of program for kids, but aside from classes, there's no way to network for activity partners.

Came for the Zumba class at 6:30 pm on Wednesday and it turned out that the instructor was there and she cancelled the class. She said she told her boss but it seems the boss didn't inform anyone else nor did they get someone to cover the class. There was nowhere on the YMCA app nor the receptionist mention it knew about the cancellation. It would be thoughtful of YMCA to announce on the app when a class is cancelled so that we don't waste gas or plan our day around an exercise class. Wasted gas and time.

Staff are really friendly but that’s it for positives for me. I signed my son up for parent and child swim lessons it’s a complete waste of money and time they hire teenagers who just stand there while your baby splashes. They’re not really learning anything and the young instructors don’t give much direction or teaching, I can go to my own pool to watch my baby splash for free. Also called to speak with the director to cancel my membership which he promised would be canceled and refunded but it’s been over 2 months and not only did I not receive a refund but I’m still getting charged!
