Just had the most amazing experience this morning at Southdale DMV--said no one ever, I know, but, it really went so smoothly. I needed to get a new MN license, so I made an appointment online, and brought all the paper work that the online website says to bring. I checked-in about 10 minutes before my appointment time, sat for 20 seconds, was called up and very quickly collected my paper work, took a picture for my new license, and was on my way in 10 minutes! The woman helping me was also very kind.

I went to get my enhanced DL renewed at about 10:15am on Tuesday an Southdale and there were only about 5 people in line, I couldn’t believe it. I waiting may be 5 minutes and my number was called, I hit the jackpot with a gal named Liha. I had just moved and was missing one of the required documents and she went right to bat for me. So knowledgeable! She gave me a few options on how to proceed and in the end I walked out with everything completed for my renewal. All because of Liha who was also so kind of patient! I had such a great experience at Southdale, the key is to go mid week (not Mon or Fri). Thank you Liha if you read this!

Wow, never have I been more impressed with the MN DMV! I needed my driver's license renewed. I made an appointment online in advance for weekday mid-morning (these are both key) and was in and out in less than 10 minutes! And the woman who helped me was super pleasant.

I had two ladies helping me out today. One was new to it so a nice lady next to her helped her and myself through the process. Very happy with my experience today. Without them though I feel as if my visit could have gone bad quickly.
