I lost my home of 11 years during the COVID shutdown.
I had to move into a tent alone at 58 years old.
I contacted many organizations and was on many lists.
Helping Hands of Haywood was the only organization that ever gave me a break by paying for a hotel for several days while I got my first vaccine and recovered from the side effects. This meant so very much to me. I Will never forget the kindness.
