The Healing Center is TRULY god sent. From the moment I walked in I was greeted at the front door and I let the receptionist know this is my first time here. They are non - judgmental and understand that everyone is at different walks and path of life. If you are a case manager or working in the community I advise you to send your clients here. From check in to leaving I was instructed on next steps and I was just a walk in, I was thinking they were going to tell me to come another day. I have been trying for some years to come to the Healing Center , but haven’t had the time . I am forever glad I picked today to get connected. 10/10
May you all continue to do right by God & serving his people

Every time I called for help they have no resources. Their website is also out dated. They don’t offer the programs they say they offer on the website. My friend also helped volunteer with passing out food and said the food was out dated.

Kind of feel like I'm at Walmart stealing something people coming up. Can I see your text message? Can I see your text message ma'am? I've been coming here for over a year. I really feel some type of way when I come here anymore. I wish I could find somewhere else that helps you like here does. There are so many great people here for that experience I had. I just felt some type of way. God bless

They barely assist if you are black. They assume you will take more than they allow. So they watch like a hawk & are rude & criticize every little thing, if you're not familiar with their forever changing system. If you are Hispanic or white they will cater to you. Their sign in system is faulted. After standing in line for over 15mins for guest services to wait on me to be told they couldn't find my name in the system & to start the whole process over again & keep telling me the line didnt take 15mins to get thru & i was the one actually standing in it. They saw I have a boot on my foot & could barely walk & they ddnt care.
I've tried to check my children in to child care it's never available only to Spanish speaking guests.
They offered to help with car repairs but when they found out I had another car that I could get repaired bc the original one was too expensive even with their help, they denied me assistance & didn't give me the money, they originally were going to give me to get my car repaired.
The only reason I keep coming back is bc I need the assistance. But all my other family members who used to come to this pantry have stopped coming bc of the rudeness & mistreatment. They offer so much training they need to train their volunteers to be compassionate towards Everyone who walks through that door. I have gone through a lot of medical obstacles & just because I may not look like what I have gone through & im not of Hispanic or white I still should have the right to be treated kind & fair.
