Ashleigh was super friendly and helpful and provided us with an excellent and comprehensive tour on short notice. The complex is incredibly clean, quiet, and luxurious. I was very much looking forward to living there but was disqualified not due to credit, income, or anything that is remotely pertinent to renting a home, but rather my background from when I was a teenager. One drug charge from when I was a teenager. I am 29 now for clarity. And have maintained a clean background since. The application asks about charges in the past 7 years and both the fair housing act and the HUD both strongly discourage properties from considering non-violent felonies from more than 7 years ago. and the application even asks about charges WITHIN THE PAST 7 YEARS. The Fair Housing Act states "Blanket bans on housing for individuals with criminal histories, without considering the nature of the crime, time elapsed, or rehabilitative efforts, likely violate the Fair Housing Act (FHA) because they disproportionately impact protected classes" and when the regional manager told me that the timeline they have for felony charges is 15 years (despite the application saying 7 years) that certainly sounds like blanket discrimination to me and does not at all sound like they considered the severity of the crime or the time that the crime took place or any of the of required criteria that is supposed to be taken into consideration. This kind of discrimination is completely erroneous. And to be clear the property is well maintained and the management is great this review is merely a reflection of Hawthorne Properties in General and if you look at their reviews on google Hawthorne Residential Partners has an average 2.9 Star review which tells me others have had similar issues. I work hard I don't want or need a handout I want to use my hard earned money to rent a home and either Hawthorne Residential Partners will hear my case or I will have my case heard by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

I was really hoping to become a resident here. I went for a tour on a Saturday and Ashleigh was AMAZING! I stopped in just wanting to get some information and she was willing to take my boyfriend and I on a tour of the complex at short notice. My 1 star review is not towards her at all, it’s towards the fact that the corporation of the complex does not follow the fair housing guidelines whatsoever.

The management team welcoming and a joy to communicate with Kristy, Masa, Ashleigh. The Hawthorne itself is beautiful, peaceful, and a delight to live here. I forgot David the maintenance Guy he is top notch and genuinely helpful and kind with it… Now there is one problem the noise on top of my head. I tried to get the staff to come witness this but I guess I have to recorded this noisy disturbance. Then what? I know people have to walk but it like she constantly moving furniture. Then its some kind of machine making continual noise about 3 hours some days…this is the honest review…

I recently moved in about two weeks ago to Hawthorne at Traditions and I think the adjectives I would use to most describe the process are “seamless” and “exciting”. The newly built apartments are gorgeous and reliable and I feel so blessed to have the chance to call this place my home. Kristy in the leasing office is the kindest woman I have ever met and she continuously offers help or advice whenever she can. When I first arrived on my move in date, it truly was like being welcomed home. The amenities are amazing and the care and dedication the leasing staff have poured into creating such a place is clearly shown. If I could give one piece of advice to anyone considering calling Hawthorne their home, I’d say “hurry up!”

I could go on for days and days with the compliments I have for the management and staff here. Kristy & Mara are a dynamic duo. There is zero hesitation in their willingness to help you. Moving, whether it be your first time, or third is incredibly stressful! Especially when you're dealing with so many external factors! Mara and Kristy make sure it is a smooth seamless process. This will be my second time moving into a community led by Kristy & Mara and the stress is at bay because of their hard work, knowledge, timeliness, and sincerity. They are bright lights in everyones day and you should absolutely work with them to get yourself or a loved one an apartment here. Ashleigh is the same! Just met her for the first time but she couldn't have been nicer, or more welcoming if she tried. Amazing community that is up and coming and lead by the best Trio in the Triangle!! Special thanks again to Kristy, Mara, and Ashleigh!!

I moved in November and it’s been a dream! The apartments are gorgeous and so easy to make feel like a home. Kristy, Mara & Ashleigh are all genuinely so kind and ready to help when needed. The location is amazing and close to everything that you may need! I actually work in North Raleigh and it’s a straight shot to get to work. The neighbors have all been very welcoming and I cannot recommend this place enough!

I moved in here in the middle of November and am absolutely loving it. The apartment interior and appliances are high quality, and this was the only one out of all the various apartment complexes across Wake Forest that had a floorplan that fit my needs. I've lived in the area for over 10 years, and I can confidently say that you won't find a better situated location either - super close to downtown Wake Forest so you can quickly get your shopping done, but not smack in the middle of everything so you have to fight traffic to get in and out of the complex. Also, the management staff are the most wonderful people around - you won't find a more happy, caring, and proactive group of people anywhere. I am looking forward to meeting more of my neighbors as this place begins to fill up. If you're looking for an apartment to rent in Wake Forest, I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place! Come be my neighbor!

Beautiful new property nestled near the heart of downtown Wake Forest. Bright, spacious apartments. I love the fact that access to the building is restricted to residents. Makes one feel safer. Beautiful amenities. Go. View. Be impressed and lease! Tell them I sent you!
