Haven Health, Green Valley, is an ultimate find for skilled as well as long-term care. The atmosphere is loving kindness and professionalism, while attending to individual need. My husband was in both areas for about two years. We came to know them for their compassion for us both, continual drive to ensure quality and safety, and ensuring cohesiveness between residents and staff. We loved the food (thanks, Jenny!) and all the extras provided on holidays, my husband’s birthday, and the celebration they gave us on our 50th wedding anniversary – a rare find, right! In skilled care, our hearts belonged to Trina, Aubrey, Octivio, and Maria, and Dr. Matthews. With great compassion and care, long-term care nurses Marsha and Robin along with aides Rosa and Maria, helped my husband and I through the most difficult times of our lives. Reuben drove the spotless transport van used to provide safe trips to appointments outside of Haven. Hailey and Lilly made arrival at Haven a cheerful part of each day. We grew to love the people at Haven as family and are grateful always for what our personal experiences over time revealed about them: their love, caring, and support was unending.

Griselda Barnett took care of my mother for several months after a surgery and before she passed. She made my mother’s time better. She always smiled, always had a hug for her and treated her like a person and not just another old woman waiting to die. I strongly recommend Haven Health in Green Valley.

Good morning Green Valley. I am here to tell you about our best neighbor in Green Valley. Haven Health Green Valley Az. These people are professionals with a smile. I can’t begin to tell how important it was for me to get help for my illness. Everyone here are there to share in getting well. From the support staff to the docs. This was simply the best experience I’ve ever had. Getting well here is priority for patient to the management. 150 W La Canada. If your thinking about it you could have already been there. This is an excellent facility. Visit or put your loved ones in other facilities and you’ll understand the excellent care this facility provides. When a patient or family puts a bad review it’s likely based on the facility having to follow policies and regulations that they are not happy with. Providers ( doctors) hospice company’s and other care coordinators all love to work with Haven Freen Valley . Staff have their own families come as patients as I personally have myself. It looks and smells clean, the food is very good and we are blessed to have this SNF locally in our community .

The facility is friends and clean. Their courtyard is full of vegetables and some pet birds which is nice. It’s the only skilled nursing in green valley so to some degree there might not be a lot of choices depending on your area. However as far as skilled nursing facilities go, it presents efficient with a tidy atmosphere. When I am in the halls the staff is helpful when asked for the most part but it is after I had to hunt them down, not because they greeted me independently. The aides and house keeping smile and greet me, the administrator and higher up people hardly acknowledge my existence. The safety protocols seem to be efficient and in place other than that the check in tablet isn’t wiped down after each check in.

Rooms are old and equipment is dated. Food lacks taste. Nurses and exec staff will not return calls. Impossible to talk with patients medical staff. OT and PT was often hurried and incomplete. Medications were sometimes not distributed. Toilets are shared with 4 patients. Discharge promises were not honored.
This is not a place you want to be or where you would want a loved one.
Stay far away.

I was admitted on Sat.Feb.1 2025 at 1:00 AM. I was well received and put in a double room. The roommate situation was a an issue for all 13 days I was there. This however was more than compensated by the extremely compassionate care I received. Lastly three days after discharge I had a colostomy dressing malfunction at 5:30 AM and nothing to fix it. I called Haven to see if they could help and Terry at the nurses station went out of her way to find us what we needed and I was back on track by 7:30.

The care, quality and attention by doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, social workers and CNA’s was outstanding. The food was very good too. All employees seemed to be glad to be working here which was reflected in their courteous care of patients/residents.
Some staff have been working here for 16 years or more so they function together much like a family.
