We love this church, pastoral staff and church family. They are real, authentic and you can come as you are and be accepted and loved. What took us by surprise the first time we came to visit was how much this church puts an emphasis on prayer and on worship. They have several weekly prayers meetings at the church that anyone can go to, and they are well attended! We knew this was the church for us. We figured if they are praying, they are the kind of church that seeks the Lord and His presence and guidance. We have been going for 2 years now and its proven to be true.

1st time guest.. Warm and friendly people....pretty much full service. The worship songs were amazing, and very Spirit driven. The message by the pastor was heart felt and was delivered in a way that was understood by all....I could tell that he has a passion for people and to see their spiritual growth. We will be back next week, and look forward to the encouragement.

Friendly church that emphasizes worship and Holy Spirit led ministry. Mostly college age with mature leadership.

I have been looking at different churches in the area just to try out and wanted them to be non denominational because my girlfriend and I have our own church we attend and did not want to be confronted with what we NEED to do in order for them to consider us Christian. The pastor announced that you were not Christian if you are gay, not a “manly” man and if you do not fit his example of Christianity. I have many friends who are gay who are Christian as well and many who do not have the same beliefs as I do, but I would never tell them they are something they are not based upon what I think is correct. I have always had the upmost respect for other churches and am glad we have so many in the Boone area, but unless you believe exactly what the pastor does about religion, gender, male/female expected statuses, and political views, you will be made to feel unwelcome. Many people walked out when he went on his rant. Great Christian example!!!! Jesus did not discriminate against a single person and neither should a church that declares to be non denominational and welcoming. Stay away!
