Where do I even start… Let me just say that me and my family were very excited to try out this church, but after this morning, were definitely not be going back. The morning started out good with beautiful signing for around 20 minutes, that everyone in my family was enjoying but it took a sharp turn very quickly. One of the older pastors got onto stage and begin to talk.. he then directed everyone’s attention to his shirt which happened to be bright red. He went on talking about the upcoming election and politics to the whole congregation of around 100 people. He then told everyone to turn to their neighbor and ask them if they had voted yet, everyone in my family was appalled. Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Independent like myself or are somewhere in the middle, no church has any business knowing that. To assume one persons political standpoint is extremely distasteful, but to assume around 100 people’s political standpoint is appalling. It was one of the weirdest interactions. Church is supposed to bring people together and worship God, not talk politics. We were looking forward to trying out this church, but after that we got up and left as did other people.

We was looking for a " spirit filled church" that welcomes everyone to join-in worship together like any true Church should. I visited one Sunday morning and loved the preaching from the first visit. I felt a connection and most of all was welcomed within this Church and felt l found my new family. It’s a blessing and life-changing experience to celebrate and hear preaching from the King James Bible. The pastor and his wife (married only once) has been married for years while setting an example for people to follower by the leadership they provide.

I enjoyed the services while I lived in North Carolina. I had many times been prayed over it and of service and prayers answered very quickly. I went to a few men's encounters or gatherings and felt inspired. Thanks for making me feel welcomed.

We visited Harvest Church for the first time about 8 years ago and immediately felt welcomed! We could feel the love in the room and that's what mattered most to us.Since then, we've come down to visit every summer. Eight years later we have moved close to the area and Harvest has become our home church. If you're ever in the Washington NC area, I highly recommend you visit our Harvest family!

I love my church family. I have been a member of Harvest for many years and we are all part of a family and love one another. Pastor Thad and Treva are always there for you when you need them. Pastor Thad will teach you the Word if God so you can understand it and learn it easily. Pastor Thad is a true man of God and Allows God to work through him to show us the right path. If you want to join a church where you know God is in control and the Spirit of God is come visit Harvest Church and feel the love and the power of our Living God.😇

Harvest Church in Washington North Carolina is a wonderful place to worship and fellowship. Friendly people, life groups to connect to and children's church. Excellent, applicable, Biblically- based messages. A heart for God and His purposes individually, corporately, nationally and internationally. Belief in Father God, Jesus God, and Holy Spirit God. Went to a funeral but church people (ones that regularly attend there) were very friendly. Church itself is clean, modern and comfortable.
