I have been a member of the YMCA since childhood. This YMCA absolutely lives up to the “Y” standard. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean. I love the separate workout rooms for women and men. I utilize the women’s steam room after every workout. I highly recommend this YMCA to anyone in the High Point and surrounding areas.

I've been a member of the YMCA for a while now, and I can confidently say it's a fantastic place to work out, connect, and grow! The staff is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about members' progress and well-being. The facilities are well-maintained, with everything from a clean and spacious gym, to a variety of exercise classes that cater to all levels. Witnessed Bradley Cromer being unprofessional at a basketball game. The Association Sports Director. He very sassily and aggressively ran across the gym to confront a teenager because the incompetent referees weren’t doing their jobs. He reached toward her to drag her out of her seat and when she spoke up and refused to let him bully her, he slithered out of the gym to call the police. The young lady was African American by the way. He witnessed every visitor in the bleachers yelling and screaming in disbelief because the referees watched a young lady being choked on the floor and didn’t call a foul or anything. So Brad chose the smallest person of color in the bleachers to run up to and get in her face when there were at least 45 other people near us, mostly white. He never said a word to them. In turn he reported the incident to his boss. Ally Snuggs basically stated that since Brad is white that whatever he chooses to say or do to anyone makes him right. So African American parents, do not let your children play any sports at this YMCA. They pretend to uphold “Christian” values *wink* but don’t believe the hype. We witnessed him in action!

I love the Hartley Y! The staff is always friendly and the gym is always clean. In addition, my daughter participates in the After School and Camp Pioneer program which she truly enjoys. They invested a lot into my daughter and I have enjoyed watching her thrive. I thank God for this wonderful organization and the staff.

I OFTEN GO TO THIS LOCATION TO USE THE STEAM ROOM AND SAUNA. THE GYM IS CLEAN, AND THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY. I WISH THAT THE JAMESTOWN LOCATION HAD A SAUNA AND STEAM ROOM .
