I had seen their sign as I drove by it quite a few times. I never thought to stop in because..and this is kinda dumb..I thought it was a surf shop.

The wife and I wanted some coffee so we decided to pop in and lo and behold it's a full on restaurant. Super cute. Trendy vibes. So we decided to stay and grab a bite too.

We walked in and took a seat at an open table. The restaurant was mostly empty so plenty of tables to pick from. We waited for about 10 minutes and saw people were walking in and getting in line at the cash register.. being new to the place and feeling stupid I went to go ask for procedure. The GM told me that we had to order at the cash register. No harm, no foul. We took our place in line. There should be a sign for other new comers letting them know the deal or a hostes..idk.. something!

We were finally at the register and placed our order..there isn't a huge variety so selecting what we wanted was easy. We got the waffle trio, a breakfast burrito, a breakfast sandwich, a Chai, an orange juice, and my love got an energy refresher.

We took our seat and watched as the servers walked around trying figure out where the food they were holding was supposed to go. Wrong orders. Wrong tables. That was painful to watch.

We finally got our food. Burrito and sandwich were nothing to write home about but good. The waffles were original and very good. After waiting for about 10 minutes I finally got tired of waiting and went to go ask about our dinks..they had forgotten about them.
About 5-10 minutes later we got our drinks. My wife liked her drink. My Chai was meh and the orange juice had ice cubes..is that a thing for people..watered down oj?

We went back with our kids and they liked the place. Our food this time, all came at different times. The food, they agreed was good. The drinks were ok.

Price was fair.

This place has something South Phoenix needs. They just need to have better organization and I can see them thriving.

I will continue to come back since the place is so close to where I live. Low expectations for service but at least I know what I have to expect. It's leaps and bound better than brunch house.

This place is not what I expected. It is more of an upscalish coffee shop. The food is simple but tasty enough. The drinks are good. It is a great place to hang out and pass time. The menu updates, so do not go off of what is posted online.

The wife booked Hãnai for an engagement party. It turned out beautifully. The food was delicious, and the presentation was elegant. The space was perfect for 25-40 people. The customer service was friendly and available at request while still operating the business. Great management team and they own the sky zone as well. Dont miss out on this location.

An absolute hidden gem in Laveen. Just celebrated their 1 year anniversary here's to many more! I love their specials they can not be beat! (pic included)
Please be patient it's a smaller place so wait times are a little longer but so so worth it! My favorite part has to be that proceeds from their sales go to help foster children find their forever homes! Their place is beautiful and has a really cute bar area and outside lounge area.
