I went in looking for a table that would withstand children. I found a table with four chairs and a bench for $65. It wasn't very appealing to look at but it was sturdy to me and it looked like someone who had kids owned it. And somehow it was still intact. I scraped off the paint from the table and repainted it with wood stain and poly. And I scuffed up the chairs and reupholstered the seats. It took a while for me to complete, but I enjoyed the process and I learned so much. I'm really happy with the finished product.” This anecdote exemplifies the potential for creativity and personal fulfillment that the ReStore offers, transforming discarded items into cherished possessions. This is specifically in regards to the free pick up service. TLDR: we relied on the assurences in the advertised service on their website to donate furniture to the Restore, and because of undisclosed conditions are now worse off than if we had never offered to donate.

We made plans around the promise made on the website that they would pick up furniture in good condition. No where on the site describing the service do they disclose that they cannot move furniture that is not on ground level. We did not find out until they arrived at the apartment to take the items and were informed they could not move anything up or down stairs. Had that been included in the information for the service we could have made alternative arrangements, but we relied on their assurances on their site in our planning to have an apartment cleared at the end of a least and are now in a very difficult situation of having to rent a truck or service with less than a days notice.

This restore is a great location! I didn't realize before I visited for the furniture that they had a lumber yard at this location. Will be coming back for any lumber needs. Got a lot of 2x4s for $2 each. They are currently having a lumber sale so check it out while it lasts. The employees working there were very nice and helped me load my couch into a U-Haul.

Store is fairly organized for a thrift shop. Some items are better quality than others but everything is priced to reflect it's condition. You might have to do a little digging but there are some good finds here, especially if you're willing to refinish in some cases.

I don’t have any words. I guess there is an individual who believes they are knowledgeable in antique and/or vintage prices but they are seriously misinformed. Higher prices than any antique stores in the area. Absolutely comical.

We were able to find so many great items, enjoy the shopping environment, have an inside and outside area where items are kept. Organized neatly, employees are professional always ready to assist, Managers are great as well. Found a beautiful claw tub ,lighting, chandelier appliances etc... Great place if you are on a budget and remodeling.

Looking for a new exterior door today; the selection here is great. I found an antique hardwood door to refinish.

This is more of an effort to provide feedback on the donation process and to help others who are considering doing the same.

The employees who came to pick up both times were very nice - no issues there. I would say it's the initial process of scheduling the pickup that needs work. We were not told that the furniture had to basically be in our garage for pickup. NOT a problem at all except we had to reschedule another pickup for the remaining items. There was also (to my knowledge) no information on what is accepted and what wasn't until the time of our pickup when the truck arrived. Overall it just seemed like a bit of an unorganized process. So my advice would be to chat with someone on staff to determine what needs to be done at the time of pick up and also what items are/are not accepted. Unfortunately, we probably won't be donating here again because it ended up turning into a 2 week ordeal.
