The prices were much higher than Rockford & not even enough merchandise or a good selection.

Anything I was interested in was overpriced or very worn with a price much higher than was reasonable.

I wouldn't visit this location unless I was in the area.

why didnt i visit HfH sooner!?! Great place to find that peculiar something or if ur wanting to paint an accent wall, their interior paint selection has many gorgeous colors! Extra friendly staff...a cool spot to even just glean creativity for kind of home project u may b taking on or to snatch up just the right one-of-a-kind gift. These were my find o' the day!

This used to be my favorite place to shop. I could get curtains, pans, pillows, lumber, etc. now the prices and selection are outrageous. I’ve even stopped donating there because of how much they mark things up. It must be a ‘reach’ for some shoppers to purchase such items. For example today I was in and saw a set of blackout curtains that were $18. They had been opened. I could buy them brand new at WalMart for that. I saw deck railing that was $70 (similar in price to Menards). I know the money collected goes to a great cause but possibly a better business model for them would be to sell more at less of a price and put the items in the store into the hands of the people that need them. I always try to price my garage sale items at the suggested 10% of retail. Perhaps they should consider trying a price reduction and see if it has a positive impact on both donations and sales.

I didn't have to much time to shop because had to leave because of family emergency but we did get a chance to talk to the store clerks. Both very nice and courteous and very helpful. They did say that have mostly small kitchen appliances and accessories. A few odds and ends. Not a very big store as some of the others in the state, but will still worth stopping back again. I was going to take a picture but i saw the one already posted and thought that was pretty good one to use. Happy shopping folks!!

I am grateful for the service they provide our community. I wish they were able to stock a greater number of large appliances, but I understand their challenges and that they are not the same scale of larger re stores like the Madison facility.
