The Fresno Habitat for Humanity has non experienced workers and utilize cheap materials. When questioned they get very defensive and talk in circles rather than fix the issues. They didn't take into consideration the homeowner's disabilities when replacing his amenities with unsustainable items such as a vanity lacking shelves, drawers, he is in a walker people how do you expect him to retrieve items from the bottom of a cabinet. His metal medicine cabinet was replaced with a box made of particle board that lasted two days before it fell off the wall. He has made several attempts to get this resolved with negative results. He says true I didn't pay but someone did and this is the type of service they give. They don't care about the elderly/ disabled in the Fresno community, it's all a show. They are not good stewards of the donations and moneys they receive. Think twice before giving to this organization.

I've volunteered at a few of their events. I've always been treated with kindness and respect. Their events have actually been a lot of fun. It's clear this organization cares about our community and wanting to help. Thank you Habitat for being in Fresno and showing how much you care about our community.

If I could not give any stars I would. A friend of mine was telling me that her elderly neighbor on a very fixed income asked for help and was refused because she lived in a mobilehome in Fresno. My friend was saying another owner of a mobilehome in Clovis they helped them. As my friend said the organization should be the same for all Habitat's not change for how each area feels like. Well I won't donate anymore to them since they are so selective.

Do not volunteer here at the Habitat for Humanity CLOVIS as it is extremely unorganized and unprofessional. The front staff Ivy and Eduardo are no help and just sit in the office by the AC, texting away in their phones. If you ask them a question they brush you off with a quick answer, hoping you'll solve the problem yourself. There is no training, no introduction, no order or cleanliness. Horrible experience and horrible staff. So disappointing. Maybe Habitat for Humanity FRESNO will be better.
