We had a very severe automobile accident and we went to Whitehall Tri-County Hospital and we received excellent care and I later spent two weeks there recuperating and I cannot say enough good things about all the care I got. I highly recommended it.

My son had his tonsils out 3/19, he is 8 years old. Rosemary did such a great job on making him comfortable, she was the sweetest lady. Everyone was so kind and patient it with him, he was very comfortable. So glad we decided to get his surgery here. Thank you!

Went to ER in middle of night for breathing issues and they dismissed us because we didn't take the jab. 20 minutes of care. And we were out of there with a pat on the back. Good luck.
3 weeks later went to a different ER and was actually treated. Turns out the issue is a very serious and life threatening problem. Shame on tri county ER staff for treating us with such disrespect. We will never go back

Clinic is the worst. I had an ex ray. Was not able to get the results same day. One week later I called and got the nurse. She read the results to me,however she couldn't give me the results in layman's terms. She said the doctor would get back to me. Another week later is here in two days. Meanwhile I'm in pain. Not important enough my kids say.

Well if they don't let you die while you're waiting they'll sure as heck get your birthday wrong so you can't get your Rx filled. This place is not where you want to go if you are sick. The waiting room is literally 5 chairs in a 10x10 room so if they're busy don't plan on sitting. Let's hope you're not sick enough to have to go here. Honestly try somewhere else first. Worst facility I've been to in a long time. Very disappointed in the lack of care and consideration at this clinic. Maybe it was a bad day for them but when the doctor started smirking and laughing when I was telling him how much pain I was in, it really makes you reconsider wanting to even get help from these jerks. Never again, I'd rather be seen in Winona! And we all know how terrible they are!

Although I really like most of the people who work here as they are very friendly and helpful. My last experience in the ER here was not the best and not because of the nurses, because they were helpful and nice or the doctor because they were not rude in any way but I strongly feel the doctor did not fully assess my daughter like he should have and it could have turned out very badly if we took his word and she caught an infection.

A couple weeks ago one evening started as a normal night but ended horribly and I probably will never forgive myself and it will be something I live with forever. My 4 year old daughter had a ruffled shirt on that caught on fire, one of the ruffles caught fire and the ruffles acted like a ladder for the fire. The only thing I could think of is to get her on the ground and start rolling her and patting on her until the fire went out. I have never been so scared my heart just sunk. I rushed her to the ER in Whitehall Wisconsin as that is where we live. The doctor on staff said it was only 2nd degree burns and had them put some cream on, told us to redress it twice daily and that she would be ok to return to school in a couple of days as long aa she was up to it and made it sound like she would be just fine. The next morning I went to redress her burned areas on her arm and side and had a feeling it was much worse. I took her to her normal Nurse practitioner in Osseo Wisconsin and she had 2 other doctors look at and they right away said it was a combination of 2nd and 3rd degree burns because of the missing skin and the areas that were white indicating deeper burns and were surprised my daughter was not referred to a burn Unit. Because anything over 10% or more than 2nd degree burns in pediatric patients is supposed to be referred. However I really feel like the doctor on duty that night just did not take my daughters burns seriously and just said it was only 9% of the body and 2nd degree burns. That night she was running a fever of 100-101.7 that I could not keep down so we ended up bringing her to the burn unit early because i was worried about infection. We are now spending the next 3 weeks in St. Paul MN 2 1/2 hours from home. So far we have been here 2 weeks. Wednesday October 25th they put artificial skin down and bandaged her arm up and put a wound vac on her side to keep things circulating and today they did her skin grafts on her side and arm. I'm upset because I feel like if we would have listened to the doctors orders I know it could have gotten really infected causing even more serious issues for my daughter. We are already going to be doing weekly checkups followed by months of physical therapy that we will do with her at home once we leave the hospital due to where she was burnt.

Terrible facility, you are better off making the drive to the La Crosse ER. Such a shame as is this is the only resource for some people in the area.
