Everyone here is very nice and actually cares about you. However in my personal opinion this company and the program they offer needs a major overhaul. It seems like the program is very new although I was told it’s been going on for over 15 years. During my recovery journey I have been trying very hard putting my effort into things that actually help me and give meaning to my life. Sadly this program has yet to offer that to me. It feels like we just sit in a circle and waste time for 2 hours. Again the people that run it are nice but what we do is meaningless. What most people and myself need is one on one therapy and or a personal recovery coach. Being that this program is more than likely paid by the state it feels like an Afterthought slapped together and called a program. It annoys me that my tax money goes into this. If I wasn’t court ordered to be here I would never come back simple as. The rest of my probation has been great! Sobriety is awesome. But I just hate the thought and action of coming here every week. Very frustrating when you’re trying your best to make change in life and instead you just hit a brick wall of nothingness. This program needs a major re-work and new eyes behind the scenes. If it was changed to a curriculum based program with set activities, not ā€œideas on the spotā€ it would be so much better. Last week one of the coordinators said she created the activity we were doing the SAME DAY. Again, this program needs real thought behind it not slop slapped together. You are dealing with people that need REAL help. And that’s not the coordinators fault, It’s the companies fault. Thanks for reading this review and I hope it helps the company make the major changes it NEEDS. As of now I will continue to dread coming here & only come here to complete my probation. That’s not the mindset/attitude intend to have. God bless you all and best of luck with your sobriety. All love.

I’ll try not to use any specific names in my review…

All the folks I have met here are friendly, VERY knowledgeable & welcoming. Plus, they really care about their clients. You don’t get this at every recovery place. (Sadly, been to quite a few).

Like all these programs, you get what you put into it. They point that out to ya.

And let’s face it. With the success rate of us clients staying clean, the majority of us being court ordered, in conjunction with the sad fact that a small percentage of us ā€˜fail’ by dying, the folks that work here have a really hard job.

To end on an up-beat note:
- I posted pictures of the lobby because Tracy would probably yell at me in our next session if I took a picture elsewhere. They have a nice drinking fountain in the lobby, not saying I ever had to wait long er anything.
- And my one complaint (so 4.9 stars) is that they don’t have snow days, like we had school. We live in Michigan ya know. I complained once and got a response back from Nate. He said something to the effect of ; Recovery doesn’t have snow days. He is always so wise (and witty). šŸ˜‰

This is the worst program period. They’re supposed to be helping guide the troubled youth down a a more positive path......not sure how VERBALLY ABUSING them is a positive thing in any way. But hey they’re the ā€œprofessionalsā€ this place is a pathetic joke. The females working here seem to think humiliation is a great rehabilitation tactic. WHO HIRES THESE MORONS? And this is mostly court ordered group ā€œtherapyā€. I’m curious as to what the courts would say about the ā€œrehabilitationā€ tactics used here.... this place has no business being open and mentally destroying kids that have made mistakes. I hope it gets closed soon

Didn't help my son. He went 9 hours a week for 3 months. Waste of time.
