Honestly, gave it a one star their procedure how they work for these kids on registering them is awful. Maybe they do good for them. I don’t know but my experience when I showed up to register it was all bad no communication no structure. I don’t know who is sponsoring this Boot Camp But the buildings are awful. They’re not up to code for damn sure.

Came across my grizzly photo’s and couldn’t help but make a review on the place that changed my life. I attended in 2010 and was apart of class 24, yeah a long time ago😅. It definitely help me build confidence in myself and learned lifelong skills.
I’d definitely recommend going to grizzly to any youth to try something new for their life. It’s a tough program at first but you won’t be disappointed!!! I know it’s changed a lot since I’ve attended but still a great program for at risk teens.

Poor communication. Very vocal and no issues in terms of enrolling but once I drove 2 hours to be there no one answered the phone and the individual I scheduled the meet up with ignored calls and texts before saying he was “ off “ the day we had scheduled to meet. One thing they do emulate from the military is wasting people’s time and money.

Amazing, is such a good, excellent program. Life changing for all the kids and family. They change their life literally in 2 months. Those kids accomplish so much already. I LOVE GRIZZLY

This program will change your life forever. It will always be something you hold very close and dear to your heart. There was a lot of difficult times individually and as a platoon that you face, but the good definitely outweighs the harder times and the harder times are worth everything because the lessons you are taught. It’s a rare experience that pushes you in so many aspects of life and gives you confidence. I’m so forever grateful for what Grizzly gave me. I could never repay what my cadre taught me, and my platoon. Our cadre sacrificed late nights and early mornings away from their spouses and families because they knew we needed them most in the 5 1/2 months. They genuinely care about their cadets. The lessons they teach you are powerful and never leave your mind. I will always miss Grizzly, and I’m grateful for the bond we made as a platoon and with our cadre. Class 36 Cobra 🤘🏼

My Daughter was in a lot of trouble in her youth. Went to Grizzly, she is now a traveling Nurse-RT. And is doing very well for herself. I thank Grizzly for it all. Love Chelsea Chapman's Mom

My son went in 2006 to this day he tells me it's the best thing that I could have done for him. Because of the academy he did go on to graduate high school. Yes I would recommend the academy to anyone have problems. He really did come home a changed young man. He went as a thug and came home a young man. I was proud to say yes he's my son.

Grizzly Youth Academy is an amazing program. I went to school here and so did my younger sister, we are local alumni and love what Grizzly Youth Academy does for the community and teenagers from all over California that are looking for structure in their life and to make positive changes to accomplish goals. I have had a very successful career path since graduating from GYA and I wouldn’t be where I am today without the wonderful teachers and GYA staff that helped me believe in myself and pushed me to do something great in life. Go 2nd Platoon Wolverines!
