We were in the Bay Area on vacay (hiking, wining & dining) and found this great place on Sunday morning. Super friendly, diverse church with great music and solid sermon. The kids program looks amazing, and an excellent outdoor area for gathering and kids to run around. If you’re in the hunt for a spiritual community, you can’t go wrong with Grace Church of Marin!

I live in the Bible-Belt and I’m from California. This little gem of a church is head and shoulders above any church I have ever visited. Every person was warm, genuine and kind. My son, hubby and I kept talking about the people at Grace Church of Marin! The people who shine the light of Jesus make the church. When it’s a place you want to come back to, to share with and call home it’s a true gift. Just what our Lord had in mind as the light of the world.

The word "grace" says it all -- a more-than-you-expect, better-than-I-deserve welcoming, to taste and see that the Lord is good -- where no one has it all together, but where the faith that God loves us and offers forgiveness and a peace-beyond-understanding through Christ is genuine and palpable and freely available. Yes they meet in a student atrium at College of Marin (or previously at The Marin Art and Garden Center), but hey, it's easy to find, there's plenty of free parking, and a fabulous nursery and gentle Sunday School for the kids -- that runs concurrent with the worship service. Plus coffee before and after worship. Give it a shot -- you'll like it.

A warm and engaging community with a vibrant congregation, weekly and holiday services, childcare services, regular groups for men women and children, alliances with local national and global faith-based organizations and charities, plenty of parking, an updated web site App and Facebook page, and a live band of talented pro musicians playing every Sunday morning, generally services are 10-11am.
