Grace Baptist is a thriving and historic church with Bible teaching and community life. They are also active in outreach and care both locally and around the globe. When the nearby university is in session they run two morning services, reducing to one in the summer months with lower attendance. Apparently hundreds of students as well as many staff from the university count this as their community of faith, as well as many others from the regional community. It appeared friendly and inclusive.
The tiffany stained glass is incredible, located in the old church structure just past all the coffee. It dates to the presbyterian congregation which predated the baptists at this location, but was restored and moved across the old nave when the larger auditorium was added since it requires natural light for full effect.

We loved the worship service and the speaker was great. Very much focused on worshipping God and the gospel was clearly presented. I loved the modern worship music and I loved even more that it was tasteful and not over the top. God was certainly at work because I had been meditating on the song "Behold Our God" and here we sat in a random church on vacation and this song was sung.
So some CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. We had never been here before and we were greated by no one but the nice man at the door. Now I loathe attention so I wasn't personally upset, however I know this is a common complaint about churches and I was a bit saddened to see that it is a real thing.

PASTOR CRAIG MILLER IS A DYNAMIC PREACHER & COULD SELL ICE 🧊 TO ESKIMOS
i set my alarm 🚨 4:55 Saturday morning to listen to the study on MARK (Sundays 3pm). i learn so much. it’s a blessing after 55 year of bible studies for GOD to open your heart to something you never thought about
