Do not go to this location to drop off anything! Brought some couches to this location and Mark told us they where TO FILTHY for HIS store I asked Mark nicely what made them filthy and he proceeded to bash the couch’s and us the only thing I considered filthy would be Mark himself the way he was acting and his clothing etc but I still treated him nicely and give the store he acted like he owned other things . We went to a different Goodwill store a few minutes away and they where glad to have the couches and even said they where in best shape they have ever seen ! Just trying to do good and give back and Mark decided to act like we live in Beverly Hills unacceptable behavior ! Below are pictures of the so called Filthy couches ! There tan couches with no filth on them MARK! Do better I even asked him nicely why he thought the tan couches where filthy and he gave no answer instead a look of judgement and comments full of hate he never got close to them to inspect.

I frequent the Weddington store often it’s almost a home away from home. I must give accolades to Jenna, Joan (floor staff) & Tommy (back room staff) for outstanding customer service. Every time I enter the store I’m greeted with a smile and a hello. If I have a question about anything they are accommodating. I just want them to know I appreciate it. Keep up the great work it’s noticed. I hate to see Thomas the store manager move to another store but I’ll visit that Goodwill as well.

My name is Elijah my family and i have been donating and shopping at Goodwill to shop for enjoyment and it also helps people get jobs to better their lives . I was shopping at your weddington store that I've only been to 6-7 times. A lady who I later found to be a manager randomly came up to me as I was making my last two selections of shirts and said ,you've been in here since 1:30 and we're going to have fo start charging you rent . She then said I had until 6:30 to leave the store because I think it's weird that you've been here 4 hours. I asked her if she was joking because I thought she was . She reiterated to me,that' no she was being serious & she just think it's weird that I've been shopping so long to which I explained to her that I spent $150.00 in her store yesterday and I was spending at that time another $100.00 this particular day as well . I decided to go speak to management as i felt that I was being harassed and shamed for shopping at my local Goodwill for too long.I also had no clue that was possible. This is the moment around 5:30-6 pm that manager Carol decided to come get right in My face and tell me that she's entitled to her opinion of peole. It was within her constitutional rights. I told her directly that I've been in
Management for 5 years and that she doesn't get paid to think and she definitely doesn't get paid to tell the customer what she thinks of them. Especially in a Negative way. The Manager Carol continued to embarrass me while I was waiting for another manager to lodge a complaint against her. I told her to deescalate and that she needed be professional and remove herself from the situation. She loudly stated in front of 2 starring customers and 2 female employees that this was her Domain and that I could leave if I had a problem with her opinion of me.. She said this even though I was not bothering or speaking to anyone whoke i was making my selections for purchase & it was not against any policies . Then the young polite gentleman manager came to handle the situation and write down my side, as I was still being berated by Carol for being weird for shopping too long.. My anxiety was so bad that my hands were shaking from public embarrassment . I was minding my business one moment and then being confronted randomly by this Aggressive ,very confrontational & Downright rude manager with her judgements of me supposedly ,"being weird for supporting and shopping at my local Goodwills For,( TOO LONG)This incident has left my shaken ,embarrassed and it a not good for people's mental health to go through things like this when they've spent $250 dollars at this location in the last 2 days..I want something done about this and I need an amicable resolution so I can feel comfortable shopping and supporting the goodwill that helps individuals get jobs through shopping at these amazing stores . My family and I have loved shopping here very much over the years.

Great selection and the staff in store was great. My only complaint is that I brought a lot of really nice toys to donate but because I wanted to keep my container, the assistant said he had to throw them away unless I left my $20 storage container. That seems really wasteful to me. Some of these toys were well over $50

regularly visit the Goodwill location in Weddington for items for my DIY projects, and I usually keep most of what I buy. However, I wanted to return one item. Before I even began, the cashier told me, "Our system is down today for returns." I responded, "That's okay. Does it work for purchases?" She confirmed that it did. I then found an item to buy and asked the cashier at checkout if the system was working for returns. She replied, "No, I don't think it will anytime soon."

This situation makes it seem like the Weddington Goodwill is denying returns and instructing cashiers to offer vague excuses or even refusing returns randomly. This kind of experience is frustrating, and it seems like a consistent issue that may be worth addressing with management.

I usually shop at this Goodwill or the Monroe location without issue. Today I was purchasing some bed sheets to use as fabric, I went up front and got my items rung up, and as I was in the middle of paying the manager walks over and starts talking to the cashier. She spins around and starts giggling and being very flirtatious, slaps down the receipt without saying another word and without even turning around. As I was leaving I over hear the manager say, "So she's buying two pillowcases and only one sheet? What's she gonna do with that?!" and they both laugh. It doesn't bother me what two random people think of my purchases, but what in your mind thinks it's ok to distract (flirt with!) your employees while they are in the middle of ringing someone up, and then proceed to make fun of a customer for what they've bought?

All kinds of people shop at Goodwill for different reasons, whether it be out of necessity or not. It is not your job to decide who can/should buy what. I don't think I'll come back to this location, prices are too high anyways.

I donated gently used things and I would shopped here for plant pots for my orchids. Not making money when I donated , but that was ok. Not a problem at all, but when I got to the cashier to pay , they always asked me if I would like to " round up" ? .

I donate and shop here , they are making money on both ends. they want me to " round up " too? They want money 3 ways?
Aren't they a non- profit organization? or they a private businesses that people don't know about ?

They recently rearranged things so it's now similar to their store in ballantyne. I mostly hunt for home decor items, but it is also a good source of children's clothes. You can also bring what children outgrow and drop it off.
