Shockingly rude staff- I don’t think I can return to this location after seeing the older lady cashier berate customers for literally nothing on at least 4 different occasions. I enjoy going to goodwills but it really makes the experience less than enjoyable when you’re worried about getting scolded for asking for a dressing room or typing in your PIN wrong. I’ve only seen one other employee there ever and she was also rude and standoffish

I don't often leave reviews, but I've come to this store a handful of times and the staff has always been rude. You ask for a dressing room? They roll their eyes. You try to make small talk? Ignored or shut down. It's like they don't know what it is to be kind, no matter the kindness you show them. The selection is good and I always leave with something, the staff just needs a training on basic human decency.

The store doesn't really have much that a guy would like. The Men's shirts are almost 5 bucks a shirt, the selection is very small+ they have a small bric a brac section & anything that might catch your eye is way overpriced. Just like most Goodwill's they tend to try to sell broken items. This store is just for the Ladies in my opinion. One last thing, the bathrooms are closed to the public.

I just left this place November 30 2024 Saturday 7:30pm One of the rudest, down right nasty cashiers I've ever come across,I also don't leave many reviews unless there good ones but I had to on this one because I had heard from so many family and friends about how rude the cashiers were, how all their items are so overpriced, how staff and family members pick through & everything before it's priced&put out for"customers"and how so many people will never return to this location,I'm one of those people now!

Over the last year the prices in here have become comical. Everything is priced up to the point I feel like I am at at a retail box store not second hand store. No name shoes (literally not branded) -just new marked $15-$25, lots of the regular priced shoes are so bad with scuffs, holes, dry rot they shouldn’t even be out there. Hard goods are priced as if they should be brand new which you would get a receipt for and could return at original stores. They do have a good selection because many of the items set there from the prices being so high. Wouldn’t be as bad if they would run sales/specials. Some of the staff are unprofessional and talk to not only customers but employees rather harsh which makes me feel bad for the employees who are scolded in front of customers as well as customers who they talk to like this. I have seen this on several occasions. I much rather take my donations and shop at Haywood Christian Ministries where they give good deals, and are truly about helping the community. You can tell the difference in the foot traffic at both because one is much less busy given the prices and atmosphere.

I would love some Goodwill and thrift store shopping but I will never go back to the Goodwill in Canton they have the rudest employees I have ever met the older woman who runs the register has got to be the rudest cashier I have ever met she rolled her eyes at me twice because she rang me up for kids clothes when they weren't kids clothes and because I said something she flew all over me she definitely needs to find a new profession working with the public is definitely not it. And don't get me started on the manager she was just as bad as her.

Just a heads up- if you do the staff at this location a favor by clearing hangers from the dressing room and hanging them on the rack for items that didn't work for you they will berate you, try to search your purse, attempt to "detain" you, and threaten to call "the law" on you- loudly and it front of other customers. Honestly, kind of the last straw with this location. I have a recurring appointment in Canton and I have visited this particular store many times due to it being one of only things around to do to kill time. The older lady that works the register will be rude to you literally no matter how polite you are. I had attributed this poor behavior to the stress of being perhaps the only employee who is ever working? But no, she seemed to take enjoyment in harassment of a customer. I have taken issue with pricing for awhile- they have a tendency to mark up anything they can. $25 for an old crockpot with a chip in the ceramic? I think I'll pass. Thrift stores used to be a resource for those who could not afford to shop new- I don't know why we are raising prices to retail levels for items that were donated to you for free? I could deal with rude staff and price gouging up until this point but it's not even worthwhile to be a "timekill" at this point. Also just to get nitpicky- if you do suffer the misfortune of shopping at this store- make sure to check the pockets. They sure don't. The utility razor I found in the pocket of a jacket I bought here a few months back is a painful reminder
