Picked up an online order. Requires an appointment which is impossible to set up. Nobody answers the call, nobody returns the message. They have a cute check-in system and somebody did help me. Parking available. The office closes at 3pm. Somehow it worked out for me, but I will be wary to get another item which requires local pickup

Truckers. Go down 7th street and turn into where the black iron gates are. Then go straight down and make a right and you will see all the docks. Very quick and efficient unloading times. Great receiving department.

Very helpful staff. This intake center is huge. We went to donate books to the Green Street Book Project. They have a cooperative agreement.

The clothes was well organized by color and size. The issue was that they close the fitting rooms 2 hours before the store closes. I found this nonsensical since most folks go in to shop for clothes.

Goodwill in San Jose recycles old mattresses, there is no need to throw them out on the streets or take them to the landfill. There is no cost to drop off the old mattresses. They accept them on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 3:30pm. You do have to drive to the end of the street and turn into the parking area where you see the all the docks and all the mattresses being recycled. Don't turn in where there are staff sorting through donations of clothing, etc..

The staff is professional and courteous, they usually help unload the old mattresses. We give the staff a small tip when they can help us unload.

Fairly easy pandemic pick up process. Make an appointment, show up, call the number on the door. I was early and couldn't get any attention until my actual appointment time even though no one else was around.
