Dropped something I donated ,had to ask for receipt ,and comments where's the rest.Isn't it better to donate then put it in the dump?

Drop-off is usually a quick, smooth experience. With so many people cleaning out their houses, there's obviously a surplus of donations right now. And while most of the Goodwill employees are friendly, they do have a few who need some coaching when it comes to dealing with donations. I know it's kind of a hassle receiving other people's "junk", because it has to be sorted, but, that IS the business they're in.

Because some of the receivers have a bit of an attitude, I donate to several thrift stores.

Awesome!!! Lots of new stuff everyday it seems and helpful staff. We drop off things every other month and the staff walks right out to ya and helps bring it in. Don't forget to get their tax deduction paper... Try all the Goodwill's, make a weekend of it!

Awful place. I walked into the store on February 18th around 2:30pm to donate clothes and the lady working there told me to "get the h**l out of here" right as I walked into the store.
