As an educator who has partnered with Global Glimpse since 2018, I give my highest recommendation to this outstanding non-profit organization.

From the friendly and professional staff, to the engaging, organized, and relevant program components, they truly go above and beyond.Global Glimpse recognizes the power that access to travel has on young people by providing high school juniors a unique opportunity to develop their leadership skills and participate in a service-learning experience through pre-trip workshops and a 2 week trip to Latin America. In their commitment to equity, all students also receive needs-based scholarships, making this cultural immersion truly accessible for students from all backgrounds.

After their 2-week trip you will see more mature, responsible, and empathetic young adults who have been thrusted out of their comfort zones, opened their hearts and minds to unfamiliar cultures, embraced new experiences, improved their skills, and gained a better understanding of themselves and how they fit in the interconnectedness of our globalized world.

Global Glimpse is such a special organization. I had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua in 2017, and I have been involved as an GG Alumni ever since! This organization has meaningful connections with the communities students go to, and each student project is geared towards sustainability and building community. (What does the community need? What will last? What makes the most sense in this setting?)

I truly believe Global Glimpse is a worthwhile investment for all high school students.

I had the opportunity to participate in this once in a life time opportunity of a program as an incoming junior in high school. I travelled to Riobamba, Ecuador with Global Glimpse (GG). Your overall experience with GG will leave such a positive impact on your life, and truly learn how interconnected the world is. You'll come across so many passionate & empathetic individuals that'll inspire you to have the confidence, courage, compassion and commitment to immerse yourself in the world & ways to continue to give back.
