The Conservancy isn't giving tours of the dam right now. Next best thing is to visit the information center. Really neat relief map of Lake Powell there. It is huge. Nice gift shop also.

The people who work here are incredible! I got amazing recommendations of hikes and trail runs in the area and had the best week of running in my life. Beautiful topographic map of the Glen Canyon area. A volunteer explained what we were seeing and gave a great history of Glen Canyon and the building of the dam. Very nice gift shop.

The relief map of the region is worth stopping to see. But when paired with the laser pointer and the expertise of staff with detailed local knowledge you will get a personalized itinerary for your visit! Excellent advice for activities to enjoy Page and the wonder of the Lake Powell NRA and surrounding public lands based on your interests and abilities.
