Tracy, Janet,Christina, Shellb5, Tina, and all the ladies who work in the kitchen are super Nice! 💯⭐.. yet I dont know if it's discrimination or favoritism? According to Angie you can't park inside unless you have a handicap plate, I don't have one so I CANT park inside yet everyone else can even if they don't have the HANDICAP plate. Everyone can get a gas card EXCEPT for me. Closet time; everyone can get up to 2 pairs of pants except for me I get to have one ONLY. Angie told me I can't use showers there even tho I am homeless.
Let me ask this again....
Discrimination? OR
Favoritism?

Gathering for Women provides not only hot meals, a hot shower, a place to receive mail, personal hygiene products, shoes, clothes, activities but, for me, most importantly a safe haven. The transition into homelessness is very difficult in so many ways body, mind and soul but to receive all of this 5 days a week is like a balm to my fears as I attempt to figure out what's next in my life. To that end Gathering for Women has partnered me with a beautiful, compassionate and kind case manager. She's helping me to find my footing and eager to help me along my path back to self-sufficiency. All she hopes is that I am willing to do the work, to show up for myself and actively seek to stand on my own again. She makes me want to give her reason to keep hoping; to believe that working together we can ease the struggle of this chapter in my life and move forward into the next. I would have given 5 stars but for 2 reasons. One is that some volunteers and staff in my opinion are there for the wrong reasons and need to ask themselves if it's community recognition and power that should motivate them to help women in my situation or kindness, compassion and respect. Secondly I personally disagree with allowing male volunteers at the facility and would only allow women volunteers. Oh, and lastly a big ask... Please consider donating not only dog food but cat food as well.

Friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff. Safe place. Great food. And the clothing closet plus the foot massages. On Wednesday they offer laughing yoga.

I love it here the shower is hot, the food is healthy and delicious. The case management is not as available as it should be for the need but when it's your time they do what they can. The donation closet always has a treasure and lots of activities and art expression. I am truly grateful for the help. The holiday season was pretty disappointing this year. Hopefully the community will help more next year. The women really look forward to the chance to treat ourselves and buy presents for our estranged family and loved ones. God bless your works

Wonderful establishment! Life savers! I hope God continues to smile on them because they are not perfect (at no fault of their own.)
I have been in desperate need of their services for awhile now and have been there 3 times and they have never been able to meet with me. I even came back when they told me I could be seen (twice!) and all the time slots were taken. Website says intake is Mon, Wed, & Thur OR by appointment but when I ask to make an appointment they say it is first come first served.
If you want to find an organization worthy of your donation look no further because they could do so much more for the suffering women in our community if they had better funding.

Great for homeless women in the Community. Beautiful facility open during COVID-19-19 to serve the women in need with dignity and help them find solutions to their problems and help them make their way back into society's main stream. Their facilities are astonishing and the care of the women is 1st class the woman rave about the facility and especially the volunteers that support the facilities operation call them they take clothing donations etc check with them they only receive donations on certain days and times however, financial contributions are accepted any time.

Short experience a women physically assaulted me.. I tried reporting it but they defended her stating that the incident was confidential. I am shaking with fear!
