Gamelandia is a perfect place for a game family outing! This store sells various kinds of games from collectibles, to board games, to miniatures, to role-playing games. There are also some books in the back to purchase. The atmosphere is great, and they have extensive selections particularly in Magic the Gathering and Pokemon if you are into collectible-card games. The staff is super-friendly, helpful, and they go the extra mile.

I, myself, have had only positive experiences @Gamelandia, and I expect the fun to continue! I buy all my Magic booster boxes there, and this store tries hard to keep the prices down, despite the economic hardships brought on by both the pandemic and the tariffs.

Stopped in today and can't help but want to leave a review. This welcoming community space had me asking questions when I usually feel too shy, and finding games for my partner and I that I was very excited about. Mary took the time to recommend something at the exact involvement level I was interested in, and explained the game I was looking at by playing a short round with me! It really made a huge impact on my day and experience. A fun, well stocked, and wonderful little shop. Prices are what is to be expected in an affluent tech town, and the quality of service was worth every cent!

My whole family loves Gamelandia. My kid is continuously in one of their camps. The rest of us love trying out new games there. It’s a warm, welcoming gathering place for our whole community.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The shop itself is very cozy and has a great selection.

A bit pricey compared to other retailers though. Most of the standard sized board games are about $10 higher than expected and big box games are about $20 more than expected. I assume that’s because it’s Palo Alto so it makes sense.

Overall it’s a solid store but pricey.

Trying to get sealed Pokémon cards like surging sparks was kinda frustrating. The employees were actually really helpful, but there was no real line, so people just kept cutting. We were waiting like we were supposed to, but since nothing was set up, it turned into a free-for-all. It wasn’t the store’s fault, but I wish they had some kind of system to keep things fair.

Fantastic gem of a spot to play board games with friends or make new ones. Everyone is super friendly from the staff to other players. Tons of games in their game library that you can use during the open play sessions with some of the sessions being free depending on the day. Check the calendar on their website for details.

This place is great. So clean and bright. The people working there are the best out of all the stores that I frequent. Also, their Lorcana community is great. Just Stu is cool AF and very knowledgeable, Alex is great and super friendly even when he looks like he is not friendly and cool and last but not least Ana, what a wonderful person. Great team.
