I went to the recent sales three times between 09/07 and 09/15. Every time I checked out books, they made mistakes on my receipt. I noticed it at home the first time and thought it was just an error. The second time, it happened again. The lady tallying up my books added two books at $6 each and two books at $4 each, but I was only taking one of each. The cashier, an unfriendly older man, seemed annoyed but corrected the mistake. On my third visit, they somehow overcharged me by $20. My total was supposed to be $57, but the cashier charged me $75. I caught it, and she fixed the error. I recommend that if you're buying a lot of books during these sales, take the time to double-check your tally and receipts. These mistakes happen frequently, and while I want to believe they are just errors, it’s worth being cautious.

HOURS ARE INCORRECT DO NOT SHOW UP UNLESS THERE IS A MONTHLY SALE! its not “open 9am - 12pm” like google says, its only open to the public during the special monthly sales. Dont drive across town on a weekday unless you call ahead to know that they are hosting a sale

We had accumulated many books over the years, some of them expensive technical manuals. It seemed a shame to throw them in the trash, so we were grateful to find the friends of the Pima county library.

A reader's dream! The quality and quantity of the selections are amazing, you cannot beat the price, and the staff are kind. My preference is Sundays (half off day). I bought these 17 children's books today for just $9.50. Amazing resource that I will continue to shop at and recommend to others!

The best. If you can be better than the best, than that's what this place is. If it was open all the time, I'd be there all the time! I really struggle to think how things could be better. Everyone is so friendly, it's such a fun atmosphere, the prices are impossibly low; it's just perfect there. Even when crowded, people are polite and let you look or move through. I LOVE this place.

Great place! Best prices on books, not sure why anyone would give it less then 5 stars. Your purchase benefits Library programs. Yes it can get busy on Sale days but that is good for them. Come later in the day for less crowds.

Bookshelves sagging? Nowhere to sit? Time to take the overflow to the Friends. They will take them off your hands and even give you a receipt for tax purposes. Because this is a pretty serious enterprise you should bring your lightly used books in a box, and throw those graphic novels covered in sunscreen in bags and take them to Goodwill. Donations accepted most mornings, check the website. Easy access from Country Club and off-street parking.
