If you are an experienced driver and know your vehicle's limitations you can drive a car through this monument. Definitely not recommended for sports cars or such that have trouble getting over speed bumps, or if you have trouble staying between the lanes on paved roads in normal city traffic
This is a wilderness area and the unforgiving desert -not a place for idiots...

Ironwood forest national monument.

Worst national monument/park ever! No signage, no directions, no maps. Almost damage our vehicle getting here. Roads are not roads at best they are atv trails.

Save the time and frustration for to mount lemmon. Much better and diverse scenery and more enjoyable more wildlife

As our freind here stated if you are about the cushioned safe recreation experience this isnt for you however if you enjoy a rugged and beutiful landscape with unlimited possiblitys to explore(i take the suv) and find solitude this is it.
