I visited this office yesterday around 3pm and I was expecting only bad treatment from there after reading few bad reviews. Surprisingly, the gentleman from window 4 was super professional , helpful and nice to me. He even helped me to fill up documents and explain everything . The waiting room was clean and nice cooled. When I was leaving this office, the person who was at the entrance did open door for me and wished me a good day. Thank you Social Services .

Don't call! Just go in person, it's much quicker! Staff was helpful and wait wasn't too long when I went around 10 am.

Fast service. They only have one worker, he was going on lunch but the other lady put me on the phone with a worker super quickly. Solved my issue. Both ladies were professional and kind. This location is small and quiet. I was hesitant to say my social number and name on the phone because it was so quiet. That's my only concern. Everyone can hear your personal info. But im definitely coming here for future visits! There was only 4 people in the waiting area.

Waiting for 4 hours just to add my daughter name in my case.. they open only 1 window out of 2. They don’t call anyone even they do nothing.

It take forever to get your turn only 2 windows for service. I had 10 number ahead which took 2:30 to 3:00 hours. They are very slow.

Terrible to wait. only 2 people to assist you. gotta pick a number before they assist you. And they are slow at getting to you....but thats expected at a place like that. No emphathy it seems like a cold hearted place.

Waited 2 hours for the worker to tell me they are not authorized to approve cases and were more of a self service facility. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they stated they do not have them on the floor. She said she would have a supervisor called that day since its been over 40 days since Ive been waiting for my case to be approved which is ridiculous & mind you no one called back. Still waiting to get approved and i applied in Oct.!
Most you can do is get cards replaced and talk on the phone in lobby and most of the time they stink too!

Staff can't provide documentation as to why a person is denied can't function like much of fresno California can't. Overall don't expect honesty or transparency with staff who clearly can't get fired no matter how dysfunctional can't speak to management not as if that would solve anything
