I made appointment two times with them and they canceled it without any explanation. There is something shady in this place. Everything in their website is not true. They are not here to help people.

They scheduled me for appointments to help me find resources to schooling, etc and then canceled them for no reason and never contcted me back after making me wait weeks each time to even get through to someone.

A complete waste of time seeking legal family services. The unprofessionalism of Edna Gomez-Green is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I waited months almost a year to receive a response from her and when I did she misguided me, told me to receive records, file a complaint and made me look like an idiot to my children’s father’s attorney. I could’ve filed my own paperwork and had my documents modified by now. When I reached out to her she was not helpful. I even reached out to the office to express my experience and no one reached back out. I actually thought this organization would help me because they promote themselves to be helpful and care about empowering women but the entire time I have waited for Edna Gomez-Green to help me file my modification I feel more disempowered and that my time was completely wasted because I got absolutely no where with my case. Her lack of responsiveness and lack of clarity was disheartening and extremely frustrating.

I cannot say enough good things about Fresh Start. I have been coming here for years and have gained amazing experience from the workshops and even received a scholarship for my small business start up. I have never felt so empowered by amazing woman, as in this organization. This place is a scam, there are no lawyers and there is no legal service. They charged me for every appointment and every paper they printed and in court it was of no use to me because they had done nothing right. I am a victim of domestic violence and they do not take me into account, they may seem very kind but it is money wasted. Function fraud

Everything any lady would need for Profession/Personal growth and self care. Absolutely love this place. I've met new friends, networked with Valley/local professionals. Fresh Start has social workers who understand circumstances of almost every situation. This is a great place to get young girls ages 11 to 20 started on empowerment and scholarships for all ages.
